"He's pure power and doesn't even know it. He's the best of us."-Matt Murdock

Anxiously awaiting for a “Superior Paul” book

Just coming here to say if you think the reaction here is negative to Wells’s run, you ain’t seen TikTok LOL
Wells needs to drop this mystery nonsense but apart from the Hellfire Gala tie-in, Judgement Day crap and crying to Osborn for help against Vulture I, Wells has been putting out good work.
"Cable was right!"
The Hobgoblin arc worked but it's being followed up in Gold Goblin instead. Also I liked #900.

That's what I'm generally curious about, Wells fans say he puts out good work, but never elaborate. It's as if they just say "Well I enjoyed this and that" to be contrarian and to be kind to him because of what an incredible job he did on Hellions, but Hellions is a side book that required minimal effort and frankly all Krakoan era X-Books aren't worth much anyway.
I mean, all the stuff you listed that didn't work is literally a good 60% of his run. You might as well be agreeing with us.

I’ve praised Gold Goblin - which is awesome so far - for example, right here on this message board (which I, for one, do not confuse with real life. Sorry). But then I focus on contributing posts about the comics, not ad hominem attacks. You might want to try the same sometime.
It’s where Gen Z - y’know, those mythical young new readers Marvel is so desperate to chase - tends to hang, if they hang on public-facing social media at all. So as such, it’s instructive, especially since the topic of the thread is “can the negative reception be turned around.”
