Hi all. Here is the new 2023 appreciation thread for the most awesome moments in DC! This is for those moments that were filled with justice and were adventurous and action-packed. These are the moments where even if there was a crisis, the heroes proved themselves up to the task. It's for those scenes that shocked and surprised you, that made you go "wow," and that still resonate with you years later. They can be badass or tender, well-known or particular. In short whichever moments that were awesome.

Here is a classic scene from Scott Snyder's Court of Owl run. Batman has been trapped for days in the Court's labyrinth. On the verge of madness and just before the court's Talon goes in for the kill, Batman manages to find a way. He issues his warning, but you can tell he was pushed to his limit:
This impressed me during my first reading. We've seen Bats pushed to the edge before. I thought I saw some things with Knightfall. But this? This felt different.
