This team should consist of members who are British citizens. It shouldn't be a group of all mutants and non British citizens... since when did it become like that?

Why? That would only disregard its purpose. Excalibur was formed to fight for the people of the United Kingdom and their interests around the globe. While, yes, I grant that it was formed with former X-Men at the start of its career but that was only to represent the idea of unity which Charles Xavier called for.

To make it a unity squad would make it about Krakoa's interests as well, which is redundant considering its mutant members are already Krakoan. But the team needs to be about Britain more than any other country. It needs to fight for all its citizens, and not be about one agenda (ergo mutants... which I found that Excalibur did a lot more of, in the last volume, than it's targeted idea.)

Yet with the current situation going on between Britain and Krakoa, I don't think a unity squad between them would be ideal. Britain must be free first from the Coven Akkaba's influence in the political and social system. This is a "London has Fallen" situation, and it must be liberated.

To do that Captain Britain needs to rally more than mutant heroes to do the job, she needs it's human heroes. If they can do this goal, then a unity squad between Britain and Krakoa's citizens seems likely for good diplomatic relations.

6-Kwannon - kwannon and betsy come better as a set. just love the duo together in recent issues
7-Pixie - a welch fairy and she has no business with Excalibur ? No way

Monster Hunting with Elsa Bloodstone
On a crusade with Black Knight and the Braddock brothers
Fighting vampires from otherworld with Blade
Facing Shadow King with Storm again
Fighting against a demoniac invasion with Dr Strange and scarlet witch
Getting to know Guilhotine
Covert ops with Pete Wisdom, Strike and Union Jack
Hitting the London bars with Jessica Drew

Right, and the assignment was to offer our dream Excalibur team. After Britain is free I would like to see this team as a symbol of what was accomplished. That's my dream.

The team is tackling a threat to the British Isles that turns out to be a much bigger problem: a threat to the multiverse! So inter-dimensional hi-jinks ensue. The Starlight Citadel is in ruins and Saturnyne is MISSING!! Who could've done this?! In the battle to find Saturnyne most of the team are scattered throughout the multiverse leaving Betsy alone. She discovers the source of all this drama is also the person who kidnapped Saturnyne and now Betsy must stand alone against the dread Dormammu who has at his side Captain Britain (Peggy Carter).

Captain Britain and Meggan were the only two Brits on the team.
Nightcrawler was a German citizen by way of America, Kitty Pryde was American, and Rachel Summers was from an apocalyptic future America on Earth-811.
