I don't think there will be a big moment for Angelica in X-Men. Though I hope I am proved wrong.

Its very possible her experience ON the X-Men and the aftermath of that experience ARE the "big moment" that is slated to occur.

Contrary to the hype of her nomination, Team placement/assignment doesn't necessarily constitute an automatic "big moment" for any team member. lllyana and Bobby didn't necessarily have a "big moment" specific to their ascension on the team, so I could certainly see Duggan leaving everyone on the ropes, regarding Firestar.

Favorite Firestar costume?

The original. I'm sure a lot of designers can't just leave all that yellow alone, and have to fill up the space, but its simplicity is what made it special. The actual fire effects of her powers are the design element and her costume was the canvas, which is why she doesn't need so many flames on her costume.(and it was of course easier to animate) The current costume with the half flame-on effect just looks ugly to me and I don't see a "firestar" on her chest - I see a starfish.

The purity of starkness (no pun intended) of the original Firestar suit has not been surpassed.
The only modifications I ever took to was in NEW WARRIORS when artist Mark Bagley and others added some dimensionality to the gloves/gauntlets.

I don’t like the oversized mask though. The mask from her solo series was best followed by cartoon mask.

I might not mind the occasional appearance of the literal FIRE STAR leather jacket if they ever want to layer on top of the simple yellow.

I didn't like he silver and black costume that she wore whilst part of Emma's New Tian X-Men.

The classic costume is my favourite. I remember reading that both Fabian and Darrick Robertson hated Firestars mask. It was too flimsy and looked like something you'd find at a masquerade ball lol

I think the best rendition of her original costume is the cover to Young Allies #6...it make it look like it is something more durable than just a spandex bodysuit.

I'll always think of her first kiss as being with Sunfire... (they've never followed up on that in the comics, have they? I know no writer ever wants to have two fire-based characters in a comic at the same time...)

I just read an article where Marvel editor Lauren Amaro was asked to highlight characters with upcoming major stories and she says that she's really excited for Magik and Firestar to really take the stage.

What do we think this will be about? Duggan hasn't done anything with the Angelica, so there's no hints.... unless she's revealed to be a spy for the Avengers which would be character assassination.

Earlier this year Duggan said on twitter that "her story kicks into high gear heading into the summer" so maybe we'll start to see her really shine soon.
