Gotta have both, though. Can't have a role within the story without some unique personality traits, to do so otherwise leads to cookie cut-out characters and one-note stereotypes. The pheromone thing was unique and it actually helped several times in the Spider-Verse storyline that pretty much erupted as soon as she appeared. In fact I think she was the instigator of the storyline happening.
Sisterhood of the Wasps, but yeah. Their assassin Amun was a mercenary they hired because their own warriors/agents weren't all that up to snuff.
Yeah, Peter setting her free from the bunker where Ezekiel had been keeping her for the last decade or so in-universe was what led directly to the original Spider-Verse event, as Morlun sensed her, and it could be argued their spider-senses driving them to mate with each other was an attempt by the Web of Life and Destiny at self-preservation by ensuring that there'd be a next generation of Spider-Totems to carry onward even if the Inheritors (really leeches, as End of the Spider-Verse later revealed) got lucky and killed off most of the existing ones in the Marvel Multiverse.
The spider is always on the hunt.
Sounds like that TV show is just taking Anya's stuff and giving it to Cindy - while Anya's stuck in Madame Web's team. They should be giving live action Cindy stuff from her own comics!

In that vein, I would like to see her final antagonist from the original Robbie Thompson run, who apparently took over the Spider Society in the wake of Ezekiel's death, adapted in this, as well as Saya Ishii, the tech billionaire crime lord from the more recent Silk minis.
The spider is always on the hunt.
That was just speculation on my part but they could do both. For example, the Flash showcased both Barry and Wally's rogues. Using Silk's connection to the Spider Society is a no brainer.
They should totally do the Silk goes undercover with Black Cat arc.

Yeah, you're right. Superior cannot have ever been meant for Original Sin, it's a whole year too early.

Dan Slott mention in a interview, that the guys from promoting, doing big event crossover promoting Original Sin, wanted to move Superior as Original Sin. He literally came up the second spider bite on spot in order to stop them, in fact Cindy was the first person get bitten than Peter, later someone change it the other way around, because in original issue we see Peter swatting the spider on the floor and stepping on it, someone change by adding the in between panel the spider falling Cindy's leg.
Which I find ironic and funny, once again a Spider-Woman is created to stop something or a stop gap. The joke made in New Avengers of there are 8 or 10 Spider-Woman is coming true. Now I want Insomniac to do Spider-Woman game for Jessica Drew, Julia Carpenter, Mattie Franklin, Anya Corazon and Cindy Moon.
We actually DO have eight now if you count just the big name multiverse characters - Mayday Parker (MC2), Annie Parker (Renew Your Vows), Gwen Stacy (Spider-Gwen). Add in MJ from Renew Your Vows, and 616's Black Widow (she has Venom's powers now, just like Gwen), and you have 10.
