    Default DC vs MARVEL Questions

    Hello,

I have some questions regarding MARVEL vs DC:

    1.) SENTRY vs SUPERMAN:
I read many opinions about this battle, but I am asking myself:
Sentry can manipulate matter and has photokinesis as power.
So WHY does nobody brings up the possibility that SENTRY just transforms something into Kryptonite and uses it against Superman or he uses photokinesis (red Sun) and uses it against Superman.
It would be an easy win if he does that.

2.) THOR (especially vs Wonder Woman)
    https://www.cbr.com/wonder-woman-ver...y-wonder-woman
    a) Thor has some good feats against Galactus which should theoretically be better than feats of other characters or?
    b) Why does CBR gives Diana the point here in Experience, Equipment and Durability?
Mjölnir should be better than everything which Diana has and Thor is older/more experienced than Diana

    3.) DOOMSDAY vs MARVEL CHARACTERS
I dont know why people give Doomsday here always the win
If Superman can fight him, then Thor, Sentry, Gladiator, Hyperion, Hulk should also be able to fight him.
    However here for example
    https://www.cbr.com/marvel-dc-villai...lose/#win-bane
its stated that Doomsday would absorb the Energy
and is often stated that Doomsday would evolve and become more invulnerable, also to physical damage HOWEVER!! I believe that Doomsday will ALWAYS be vulnerable to physical damage, but he would just react with becoming more durable.

So like for example if Doomsday dies in battle 1 by a punch, then he would evolve and become more durable, BUT a stronger Punch would just be able to kill him.

So I think that HULK vs DOOMSDAY would just be an infinite loop where DOOMSDAY dies in every battle and becomes stronger, but the Hulk also becomes stronger in battle, so it means that it takes more effort for the Hulk to win in every battle, but he would still win every battle.

    4.) Justice League vs Avengers
People say that JL is clear stronger, BUT based on what?

    A) Scarlet Witch should theoretically be the most powerful characters of both teams or?
    B) If you just call the 6-7 most powerful characters then I still think Avengers would have a good chance of winning.

    Superman/Wonder Woman/Captain Atom/Shazam/Dr. Fate/Martian Manhunter vs Sentry/Hyperion/Thor/Scarlet Witch/Blue Marvel/Gladiator (ok he was never an Avenger-if I remember right) would be a good battle.

Sentry is Marvel’s version of Superman sort of. One of a few. Superman is still the staple for toughest character in all of comic books.

Thor would beat Wonder Woman IMO. He’s older, more experienced, stronger, and has Mjolnir.

There was a JLA vs Avengers crossover years ago. It was a pretty even fight. Both teams have their heavy hitters and street level heroes with others in between. It’s not who is the toughest. It is what the writer writes.

And avengers had the fight won till captain america teamed up with batman and throw the fight!

Ironic a site did a jla vs avengers "if they fight with every member" some years ago and had to eliminate an avenger to even have it or the jla would lose everytime!

Squirrell girl had to be removed or jla loses no matter what! Superman? fine. Captain universe? No problem. Spectre? sure. Hulk? no worries.

But SG broke the fight and was removed! No jla would win. Lol.

As for superman vs Sentry one thing supes has over him is supes is not insane and could outsmart him.

I guess it is really up to the individual fan.

For example, I have hear many people say that Wonder Woman would easily beat Thor. Diana is older, wiser, stronger, faster, more agile, can fly and has her Magic Lasso.

Superman is not the toughest in dc or marvel.

This was posted in the blue marvel thread.
IF I remember correctly i thought in the crossover marvel vs dc it was tie or marvel beat dc and it was a tie with superman vs thor.
Thor won the first around and superman won the last around.
Shazam also beat superman in dc comics and thor beat shazam in the crossovers.
Oh and when thor lost the last round some avengers beat the crap out of superman.
Silver surfer fought cyborg superman who is more powerful then superman.

    Here is some past talk
By the way certain versions the avengers would be more powerful then the justice league, certain versions would be equal and certain versions of the justice league would be more powerful then the avengers.
It all depends on the superheroes and who is in each team over the years.
In a crossover thor as beaten shazam.Thor beat superman then then later superman beat thor. Then some avengers were mad then they beat up superman.Anyway thor is around the same power level as superman but thor is bit more powerful.
Plus thor has limitess strength like hulk.
Superman and shazam have near limitless strength.
Pre crisis Superman had limitless strength in the 80's however but that is not main or canon superman anymore.

By the way here is some talk about the dc vs marvel crossover comics in past and what happen below.

    jackolover quote-
After Avengers versus DC, there did need to be some revisiting of the respective power levels between the two companies characters. Those two “versus” events had a lot to answer for. The writers saw DC as the clear superiors to Marvel, and though they cooperated in the endgame, I got the distinct impression Marvel got shafted on the power levels.

    They won.
Thor beat shazam, thor beat superman, then superman beat thor,so it was tie then right after that the avengers beat the crap out of superman.
    Hercules beat wonder woman.
    Thanos vs darkseid,nobody won.
Hulk vs the superman the last crossover hulk was professor hulk and weaker then savage hulk and superman said it took everything to put him down.
Silver surfer beat green lantern kyle.
In other crossovers venom beat superman, spideman beat superboy, wolverine beat lobo, storm beat wonderwoman.
Anyway since then those marvel characters have become more powerful overtime.
The hulk today is more powerful hulk from any of those hulks in crossovers for example.

    In DC vs. MArvel-
There were 11 battles fought between the two universes. The result of the following six battles were determined by the miniseries' creative team. (I thought there was a fan vote for this:
Aquaman (DC) vs. Namor the Sub-Mariner (Marvel). Aquaman won by summoning a whale to leap out of the water and land on top of Namor. Since Namor is pinned and unable to move, he is declared the loser.

Elektra (Marvel) vs. Catwoman (DC). Elektra won by cutting off Catwoman's whip as she hung from a girder on a building under construction, but Catwoman survived by falling into a dumpster filled with sand.

The Flash (DC) vs. Quicksilver (Marvel). The Flash won using superior speed.
Robin (DC) vs. Jubilee (Marvel). Robin won by using his cape as a decoy and then tying up Jubilee.
The Silver Surfer (Marvel) vs. Green Lantern (DC). The Silver Surfer won when both collided with each other and released a huge explosion which knocked out Green Lantern, but left the Silver Surfer unfazed.

Thor (Marvel) vs. Captain Marvel (DC). Thor won when Captain Marvel was forced to change back to his alter ego of Billy Batson. Billy tried to change back, but Thor used Mjolnir to intercept the lightning bolt that would have transformed him back into Captain Marvel; the resulting impact knocked Billy out and sent Thor's hammer flying off into the distance.
The result of the following five battles were determined by the readers' votes:
Superman (DC) vs. the Hulk (Marvel). After exchanging punches and a burst of heat vision, Superman won the fight eventually.
Spider-Man (Marvel) vs. Superboy (DC). With the advantage of his spider-sense, Spider-Man won by tying up Superboy with impact webbing and electrocuting him with high voltage, knocking him out.[5]

Batman (DC) vs. Captain America (Marvel). The match ends in uncertainty - though both are evenly matched after hours of combat, a sudden flushing of the sewer knocks Captain America off balance as Batman manages to strike him with a batarang. Batman rescues Captain America from certain death via drowning, but Captain America's unconsciousness from nearly drowning causes him to lose.

Wolverine (Marvel) vs. Lobo (DC). Wolverine beats Lobo in a brutal barfight, which was largely off-panel.
Storm (Marvel) vs. Wonder Woman (DC). After Wonder Woman drops Thor's hammer in order to allow the fight to happen as it was intended to, Storm won the battle after repeatedly hitting Wonder Woman with lightning after a brief meleé encounter.
    For JLA/Avengers:
    Ironman beats Flash
Superman and Green Lantern defeat Wonder Man and Ms. Marvel
the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver defeat Hawkman, Blue Beetle and Black Canary
Wonder Woman beat Hercules and Aquaman avoided She-Hulk
Firestorm and Red Tornado outmanuever Thor and Vision
Black Panther outsmarts Martian Manhunter and Plastic Man despite Yellowjacket and the Wasp losing to them
Hawkeye and Iron Man defeat Captain Atom and Green Arrow
Flash and Steel beat Quicksilver and Vision
Iron Man helps Photon and Quasar beat Wonder Woman and Green Lantern
Then Captain America teams up with Batman and throws the last round so the Justice League can win. BatGod aura at work

Sub-Mariner would have kicked the crap out of Aquaman. Again popularity not who is tougher. DC on paper Would have won that crossover 6-5. In reality it would have been a tie. Batman and Cap should have been a tie. They were dead even. 5-5-1 should have been the final result. Both companies come out on top because neither lost. The better crossover JLA vs Avengers was pretty even as well. I thought Wonder Woman and Hercules was a classic fight.

Anyway here is what happen in the last battle.
    JLA/Avengers
Various Justice League and Avengers members travel across the two universes and fight each other to retrieve the artifacts of power. A final battle for the Cosmic Cube takes place in the Marvel Universe’s Savage Land. After a climactic, back-and-forth battle, Quicksilver claims the Cosmic Cube. At that moment, Krona and the Grandmaster arrive on the scene, with the latter observing and commenting that the score is even at 6–6.

However, Batman and Captain America—who together investigated the cause of the contest and discovered its true nature and stakes—arrive. Captain America purposely throws his shield and knocks the Cube from Quicksilver's hands, allowing Batman to catch it. With Captain America's forfeiture of the Cosmic Cube, the Grandmaster now announces the Justice League as the victors, with the final score now being 7–5.

However, Krona is unwilling to accept defeat, and attacks the Grandmaster, forcing the identity of Galactus from him. He then summons Galactus and tries to extract information about the origin of the universe. The Grandmaster uses the power of the artifacts and merges both universes together before Krona can tear Galactus apart.

    Superman's Powers and Abilities

The powers of the DC Comics character Superman have changed a great deal since his introduction in the 1930s. As the character developed, his abilities were enhanced in order to maintain the interest of his audience. The extent of his powers peaked during the 1970s and 80's, to the point where it became difficult to create suitable challenges for the character. As a result, his powers were significantly reduced when his story was rebooted by writer John Byrne after the Crisis on Infinite Earths series. After Byrne's departure, Superman's powers were gradually increased again, although he still remains weaker than his Pre-Crisis incarnation.

    Golden Age Superman
As presented in the original 1930's comic strip, Superman's powers were indigenous to those of all Kryptonians. In the origin stories of the comic books and comic strip, Kryptonians were shown using the same powers that Superman would have on Earth. Later, Krypton's larger size and gravity was given as an explanation for the character's powers.

    Silver/Bronze Age (Pre-Crisis) Superman
Superman's powers were enhanced and added to from the 1940s until the mid-eighties. His powers were explained as a result of two factors: the comparatively weaker gravity of Earth, and the intensity of Earth's yellow sun. As such, Superman's powers were negated if he entered an environment similar to that of Krypton, such as the bottle city of Kandor, or if he was exposed to the solar energy of a red sun. In Silver Age stories, the powers and limitations of Superman were instantly possessed by any Kryptonians exposed to Earth or Earth-like conditions. Individuals from the planet Daxam, such as Mon-El, possessed identical powers, but were invulnerable to Kryptonite and highly susceptible to lead poisoning.

    Post-Crisis
When the Superman character was revised by John Byrne shortly after Crisis on Infinite Earths, it was decided to place restrictions on his abilities. This was designed to make it easier for writers to come up with suitable challenges for the hero, and to eliminate or reduce those powers that had become too sensational or unbelievable for modern audiences. Emphasis was placed on yellow sun energy as a source for the character's powers. Superman's origin story was altered so that his powers developed gradually as his body absorbed yellow sunlight, and stories such as the Final Night series depicted the character gradually losing his powers when deprived of the sun's energy. When Superman's reserves of solar energy were depleted, as in Infinite Crisis or the Death of Superman story arcs, he required an extended period of time under a yellow sun, or some type of artificial solar enhancement in order to recharge.

Power Reduction Superman's strength was reduced to the point where he could still move tremendous amounts, but the character no longer had the ability to move planets. His speed was also reduced so that he could not exceed the speed of light. While still capable of surviving a nuclear explosion, such events would severely weaken him. Superman's sight, stamina and breath powers were also similarly reduced, and the character was also shown as requiring an oxygen mask for prolonged travel in space or underwater. His mental abilities were also curtailed to the point where intelligent humans, like geniuses Lex Luthor or Batman, could possibly outsmart him. The powers of super-ventriloquism and super-hypnosis were not generally used during this period, although it was never stated whether they had been eliminated or not.

    Modern Era
After Byrne's departure from the series, Superman's powers and abilities were once again increased over time. He regained the ability to travel interstellar distances and to hold his breath for the amount of time required to make such journeys. His strength, speed, and sensory abilities were again increased, although not to Pre-Crisis levels.
The comparative weakness of the Superman character to his Pre-Crisis incarnation was definitively shown during Infinite Crisis. The Superboy-Prime character, endowed with nearly the same power levels as the Silver Age Superman, was capable of defeating large numbers of DC universe heroes, including the Teen Titans and many members of theGreen Lantern Corps. The Modern Era Superman and his Earth 2 counterpart were only able to defeat Superboy-Prime after plunging him through Krypton's red sun, thereby reducing his powers.

    Comparative strength
While Superman is frequently assumed to be the strongest hero in the DC universe, following the Byrne reboot, his strength tends to fluctuate depending on the amount of solar energy his cells have absorbed and the writer of the particular story. He has received a temporary boost in power after surviving a plunge into the Sun, and has had his powers depleted when deprived of such energy. The limits of how much energy Superman can absorb, and by extension the maximum limits of his power, has never been stated. Additionally, because of the solar energy that empowers him, he has often been depicted as being potentially immortal, as well as having a different ageing process, as seen in the Grant Morrison written series set in the far future of the DC Universe, DC One Million. The canonicity of this series is unknown.

Characters such as Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter have been described variously over time as equals, at least equal (possibly superior), or, in the last case, even superior. Captain Marvel has been able to knock him out with 1-2 punches by taking him by surprise, and Superman has stated outright that the latter has the advantage in a fist-fight due to his magic-derived powers. When the Modern Era Supergirl was introduced, it was suspected that she was stronger than her cousin, but this was due to the fact that Superman had learned to restrain his strength through years of living with weaker individuals, an ability that Kara Zor-El had not yet learned.

It is important to note that while Superman is among the strongest DC heroes, there are many who match his strength, most notably Darkseid, Bizarro, Lobo, the Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, the original Mongul, General Zod and Black Adam, while Doomsday and Despero have occasionally been shown as stronger, the former being able to effortlessly stand his ground against the entire Justice League, and the latter defeating Superman, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, and Power Girl at the same time. Heroes and villains with magical capabilities, like the Spectre, Zatanna, and Doctor Fate, have displayed cosmic level power vastly beyond Superman's capabilities. The Flash possesses the ability to travel at the speed of light, shunting his mass towards infinity, and enabling him to perform such feats as defeating a white martian with one punch, or almost overcoming the Anti-Monitor singlehandedly. Hal Jordan, with the will-fueled power of the Green Lantern ring, has also been cited as being a match for Superman, being able to lay him down with one punch while possessed by Parallax. The Guardians of the Universe allegedly possess abilities dwarfing those of regular Green Lantern Corps members. Kyle Rayner, inhabited by the benevolent symbiote "Ion", was recently touted as the most powerful of Earth's superheroes. Maxima, has many powers such as telepathy and psi-bolts that have knocked out Orion, who is on equal footing to Superman, effortlessly. She also possesses Matter Manipulation, Telekinesis, and possession abilities that would make her a threat to the entire Justice League. Maxima also can hold her own against Doomsday in strength and can increase her physicallity to infinite levels.

One villain that is often portrayed as vastly superior to Superman in every way is the five-dimensional entity Mr. Mxyzptlk. While the limits and nature of Mxyzptlk's powers is unclear, he is often portrayed as being, for all practical purposes, 'omnipotent,' and his encounters with Superman often amount to him simply toying with the Man of Steel.

    _________
    Superman (Clark Kent) Weaknesses
Kryptonian Physiology: Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Superman possesses the same potential weaknesses as an average Kryptonian. These include:
    Vulnerability to Kryptonite
    Vulnerability to Magic
Solar Energy Dependency: Kryptonian abilities will eventually weaken without replenishing their energy reserves with normal (yellow) sun radiation. When exposed to the same red solar radiation as Krypton's red sun Rao, it causes Kryptonians to lose their powers within a large amount of exposure until exposure to yellow sunlight reverses this effect. When exposed to orange solar radiation from a different galaxy, Superman's strength and abilities will drastically diminished, eventually weakening him. The radiation also affects his intellectual capacity and reduces his ability to think.
Sensory Overload: With his extremely acute senses, Superman can be overtaxed to the point of pain when encountered by extreme external stimuli such as hypersonics (hearing), balance, sight (flash bang).
Radiation Poisoning: Superman was exposed to deadly radiation during his encounter with the aliens from the Breach, causing him to rapidly age. He slowed the progression of his condition via regular infusions of rejuvanating magic from Enchantress, but this was undone by a sorceress working for Mongul.
Power Limitation: Superman's sickness has caused his powers to fade and weaken. Although still significantly stronger than a human he is less powerful than an average healthy Kryptonian.

Here is some talk about who is limitless strength in comics and who does not because when i go to certain battle forums or comic sites etc.. there is alot of confusion on this topic and it takes time to get a more clear picture but it's there if someone looks carefully enough.

If you want truly find out how strong a superhero/villain is the best places to go is comicvine bio info,dc,marvel and other certain wikis for other comicbook companies, normal wikipedia and dc and marvel for example the dc and marvel websites and marvel and dc handbooks. Simple as that.
For details certain websites will have more info then others. Sometimes comicvine will have more details for powers then the wikis and sometimes about the same and sometimes the other way around etc..

You could even check out dc and marvel official websites to get more of picture even if they have shorter info and the same thing for the official handbooks.

Look at all of the them to get the full picture and come up with your own conclusion if you stay objective or stay objective enough. Don't go to battle boards to get the true info or certain fan made websites like battle wiki or superherodatabase. Those types of websites are not reliable and if you are objective or objective enough you will know it when you see it.

No need for constant debating since the more true or true answers are there and the comics themselves.

Now the info i will give below was the banner thor war or recent hulk vs thor battles.

Now in the past thor started out stronger then hulk when created and both did not have limitless strength.

Just read what stan lee wrote in thor marvel wiki bio for example. If thor is close to hulk strength common sense says he would have limitless strength too but just happen to be lower then hulk's. With the odin force he would be stronger then normal hulk and equal to worldbreaker hulk in strength. Rune king thor is even stronger then worldbreaker hulk. Normal thor and hulk have limitless(incalculable)superstrength. Pre-crisis superman has limitless strength, but not canon modern superman(post crisis/post flashpoint). So normal modern superman is near limitless in strength like icon, shazam and black adam for example and does not have limitless strength like hulk and thor and certain other marvel superheroes.Info on that will be below,so stay tune.

Example - Here is what the more trusted or trusted info bios have to say if someone needs to do a quick look up and have not kept up or not read much about thor, hulk etc..
Here is one website i will use here to get a idea what i am talk about. You could check out marvel wiki too to get more of a idea as well.

    Comicvine
    Hercules
Godlike Strength: Hercules' principal power is his godlike strength, and he is physically the strongest of all the existing Olympians. As the Olympian god of raw strength, Hercules' strength is unlimited, making him one of the strongest and most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe.

    Thor
    Superhuman Strength
Thor is physically the strongest of the Norse Gods, being the son of Odin and Gaea, and as such is the God of Strength. His strength is incalculable in the sense that the upper limit, if one exists, is unknown and there seems to be nearly anything he can't do through applying his strength. Thor has physically overpowered and defeated the strongest of foes including the Abomination, Gladiator, the Thing, even when he had become Angrir, and Thor nearly killed him with one strike. Thor has stalemated the Savage Hulk, despite the latter's increasing strength due to rage and the struggle going on for hours, and stalemated Hercules in several of contests, and the two even once set the planet they were arm-wrestling on out of orbit. One of Thor's greatest feats was when he lifted the Midgard Serpent, which was so large it could wrap itself several times around the Earth and crush it in its grasp. Thor can destroy planets with his strikes, and in a battle with Gorr destroyed countless worlds with life-ending blows, also when he struck Beta Ray Bill so hard that he destroyed the planet they were on, which is why he holds back his vast strength to ensure he does not greatly harm his opponents or the area in which they are in. Nevertheless, Thor can effortlessly press over 1,000,000 tons, and has strength that rivals beings such as Hercules and Gladiator.

Gladiator in one of the past comicbooks was said to have limitless superstrength and some folks tend to ignore that.
    Gladiator
    Superhuman Strength
Kallark possesses vast amounts of super human level strength and is considered to be one of the most physically powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. The limits of his strength are unknown but to date he has been seen performing feats such as carrying massive spaceships across vast distances with very little effort, overpowering the likes of Colossus, Wonder Man and the Thing with ease and rivaling Thor in brute strength. Gladiators strength depends on his level of confidence.
When Gladiators fully believes in himself and his abilities his strength is matched by very few beings in the Marvel Universe. If he doubts in his abilities however his strength will drop significantly.

    Silver surfer
    Super Strength
The Power Cosmic gives the Silver Surfer incredible strength. At a baseline, the Silver Surfer can lift/press more than 40 tons. He has frequently exhibited the ability to significantly boost his physical prowess, and enhance his strength to levels enabling him to fight the most powerful beings in the universe including Thor, the Hulk, Thanos and Beta Ray Bill.
Here is some other info from marvel wiki.
    Norrin Radd (Earth-616)
Superhuman Strength: The Surfer possesses enormous superhuman strength. Though the exact magnitude remains vague, the Surfer has often been shown to fight evenly with people who can lift far in excess of 100 tons. He can also channel the build-up of energy within himself to increase his strength to incalculable levels. He managed to pulverize diamonds with no effort, stopped a charging Rhino, and when in a weak state he even managed to overcome and defeat the Abomination with little effort. The Surfer also forcefully redirected a starship's path and launched it into the outer solar system, and it was stated that it would continue on its straight-line path for centuries. He escaped from Quasar's construct, broke out of a planet that Michael Korvac formed by using nearby asteroids, physically subjugated a dwarf star thrown on him by an enhanced Deadpool and easily redirected it into outer space, and using his speed and strength, the Surfer shattered through several Vibranium walls that exploded on contact to save Nova. When he was extremely weakened, he still managed to pull the Galactus Incubator out of the young living planet Ego, and then throw it a few light-years away, and throw Stormbreaker out of a black hole.
The Surfer's potential strength was once said to rival the Hulk's limitless rage-enhanced strength.
    __________
For awhile i always thought modern canon superman was stronger then silver surfer but he is not. Silver surfer shown by the info above is stronger then superman.Silver surfer has limitless strength.
Of course there is the offical handbooks and marvel websites themselves to read more info. For marvel website just read the bio info and ignore the powergrids with numbers on them if there is any.

    Now for some dc info
Normal modern Superman does not have limitless strength and you will see below they use words like practically limitless strength ,near limitless strength etc..and not limitless.

    Example.
    Mon-el
    Superhuman Strength
Mon-El has strength that is on par with that of Kryptonians, making it practically limitless. Mon-El has the ability to lift over 100 tons with minimal effort.

    Billy Batson
    Pre-flashpoint
    H for Hercules
H is for the strength of Hercules, strongest of the gods. Billy is empowered with Hercules' nearly limitless superhuman-strength which is often compared to that of Superman. As such, Captain Marvel's strength is of the highest level and is sufficiently vast enough that it enables him to lift/move unbelievably massive and/or heavy objects possibly on a planetary scale or higher with little effort.
Superhuman Strength: Captain Marvel has the ability to lift well over 100 tons with minimal effort and has battled top tier beings such as Superman, Wonder Woman and Black Adam. Captain Marvel has stalemated Superman in an arm wrestling contest and has at least matched Wonder Woman in raw strength. The limits, if there actually are any, of Captain Marvel's strength are unknown.
Superhuman Stamina: Captain Marvel's godly energies do not require him to rest because they prevent any kind of fatigue toxins from building in his body. This grants him a virtually inexhaustible amount of endurance regardless of how strenuous the physical activity he engages in or how long it lasts. His endurance may indeed be limitless.

    Post flashpoint/New 52
Supernatural Strength: The Wizard told Billy that he has the strength of a 'demigod' which makes him far stronger than any human and makes him equal with the likes of other demigods like Hercules. He has demonstrated his strength by lifting vehicles with little to no effort and pushed a man several meters before he crashed into a car while he said he never meant to hit him that hard, and knocking Superman and Wonder Woman down with a punch (though they stood up later). His upper limit are still unknown.

    Black Adam
    Amon
The Strength of Amon is likely Black Adam's strongest area. With such strength, he often disrupts speedsters with a simple thunderclap. Among other things, he's matched Superman on two occasions, tossed an aircraft carrier (hundreds of thousands of tons) from the ocean to New York City without strain, and punched harder than the chicxulub asteroid. It was in fact stated by Superman himself that his punches have the impact of a small bomb with the volume of cannon blasts, and that was in a fight where Adam was holding back.

New 52 / DC Rebirth Powers
Supernatural Strength: Black Adam has the strength of the Gods, making him far stronger than any human and most superhumans and putting him on equal terms with the likes of Superman and Ultraman. His most impressive demonstration of strength shows when he along with Sinestro, moved Prime Earth's moon [roughly 73,430,000,000,000,000,000 tonnes] back into orbit suggesting he has near limitless strength. As such Teth Adam can easily lift and toss around vehicles and take full-grown men apart limb from limb and physically dismantle battle attested rigs like tanks or army jeeps with little to no effort. Knocking around Ultraman and a mystically empowered Alex Luther around with a punch with moderate exertion, though his upper limits are still undisclosed. Ultraman is not the only Superman-level threat Adam's dealt with, either. When he was a Yellow Lantern, he managed to punch the spit out of a superior, amped Mongul. And once his ring was charged an extra hundred percent, they were placed on even ground and Adam pummeled him with ease. In Doomsday Clock, it was implied that Adam punched Superman through multiple buildings and down a street.

    Icon
Unique-Human/Alien Physiology: Icon is a member of the powerful alien race known as the Terminans, who possess powers and abilities similar to Kryptonians. Terminans however, don't share any of the Kryptonian weakness. After having his DNA altered by his life-pod, all Icon's powers and abilities were maximised, making him very similar in power to a Kryptonian under a yellow sun.
Superhuman Strength: Icon possesses vast strength due to the maximization of his DNA and alien heritage. He can lift over 100 tons effortlessly. Due to his alien heritage and the maximization of his potential as a human being, he has near limitless strength shown to at least be equal to Superman.

    Some more views.

So it's clear from the info above comicbook thor, hercules, gladiator and a few other marvel superheroes for example like silver surfer, blue marvel,normal,sentry/void,merged sentry and certain versions of hyperion are stronger then superman, shazam, black adam, icon and mon-el for example. The info is in plain sight for all to see.
Oh in a fair fight sentry is beating superman.
Sentry is more powerful then superman.
Thor in a fair fight is beating wonder woman and he is more powerful then her.
Thor is stronger then wonder woman by the way.

Note- when i mean superman i mean canon superman, not pre-crisis superman in the 80's for example. Now canon superman gets stronger in direct yellow sunlight for example as long as he is in direct yellow sunlight and stay there or get sundips but that is not his normal level of strength and it will not last if he is not sundipping or not in direct sunlight.Anyway when he sundips in a yellow sun or is in direct yellow sunlight he does not have limitless strength.

Anyway for banner vs thor war recent comics and i have not read all yet and what i read from others it turn out that thor is really as strong or stronger then hulk.I have read the rest for myself later and and see what some i have said when i have time.

Here is something that alot don't know or ignore about post crisis shazam.

    Billy Batson (New Earth)

Invulnerability: His magical body is nearly invulnerable to any outside attack or extraneous force. He managed to survive being turned inside out in the vacuum of space and return to normal. He commented that none of the other heroes present such as Superman, Wonder Woman, or Power Girl would have survived such an assault. In particular, Superman is impressed at how Captain Marvel, whose powers are based on magic and the Gods, is much better suited against supernatural threats than he himself would ever be.

The most recent canon superman got a upgrade in power.
I also look up the info for his upgrade and his new powers.

Current upgrade info for superman and let's see if it last.
    Superman_(Clark_Kent)

Cosmic Energy Absorption: Kal's solar receptors can also absorb solar energy from cosmic energy, such as when he absorbed energy from Starman, gained from the Totality itself. So much that he felt like he could crack the Earth in half with a footstep if he wasn't careful. He could also absorb solar energy from "Genesis", a mysterious material found on Warworld, and use it to fuel his powers as a substitute for yellow sunlight.

Superhuman Strength: Superman's strength is augmented by yellow solar radiation interacting with the greater than human density, resilience and biological efficiency of his musculature. His strength is more an act of conscious will on energy fields than actual physical strength. It is this act of conscious will that enables him to perform physical feats that are beyond the mere application force, such as moving a mountain top without said rock crumbling under its own mass. Even when infected with the Anti-Life that was slowly killing him, Clark was strong enough to knock out a restrained Barbatos, who killed the World Forger; with a just a punch. When Superman fought against Rogol Zaar inside the Phantom Zone, their fight made the realm tremble and shake, under the weight of their battle.[ His powers were further augmented by Warworld's Genesis-powered "white" sun, making him strong enough to fight two New Gods simultaneously.

Genesis Enhancement: Superman was exposed to Warworld's Genesis-powered "white" sun, augmenting his existing powers and granting him new abilities. He claims that concepts like weight, distance, temperature and even spacetime are now meaningless to him.

Mechanokinesis: Superman was able to freeze Lex Luthor's Warsuit with a thought and cause it to break apart with a touch.

Teleportation: Superman is able to instantaneously travel across interstellar distances.

Superman Has Unlocked His Strongest Form With A White Star Upgrade
A preview for Action Comics #1049 shows Superman claim to be stronger than ever thanks to a white sun, and history supports how powerful he is now.
