When they originally solicited #4, they had a different image, a variant cover by Jay Hero.

Please tell me the Dark Knight bs where Supers and Bats must fight isn't coming to the JSA now. Can't we just have some friendships that are inviolate.
Nice, but what's with the lightning effect? Is it just to show how fast she's moving? It does seem that only Jay is actually responding to her, and even that is limited to his expression, which seems to show that he knows what's happening, but can't do anything about it. I will just assume there's an explanation for all this...

I mean she does have telepathic powers now along with her usual set so yes actually. She’s been hanging out with Omen in the backups of Action Comics giving out therapy. Those backups also lead in to her one-shot special out in May.
Yeah, that happened January in Action Comics

"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
Yeah, she probably remembers the original 1970s version, and thinks this Helena is an imposter. When, of course, she's actually from the future, and therefore isn't the Helena she knew pre-Crisis and isn't pretending to be. A quick use of her new powers will sort it out, I'm sure.

Some interesting details from the cover to #5. Assuming it's a group shot, and not a random assortment of JSA-related characters. Solomon Grundy at the bottom of the page. Al Pratt. Spectre. And who is the woman to the left of Hawkman?
Yeah, the daughter of Red Lantern. She's probably the same age as Jade and therefore exists in the present day without needing a time travel origin like Huntress.

I took the lightning effect in that cover to reference time travel or Hypertime energies.
