Yes, Robin Damian has not been canceled by sales, but Batfam's third in sales is Barbara or Selina.
Red Hood is a strange case, it was more to keep Lobdell's job, and with the low sales he was rewarded with another comic book, Nightwing, which he also destroyed sales.

I would suspect trade sales help those runs. Saw both those titles among Amazon's 200 sellers at times.

You got over 100 issues out that Red Hood title in 10 years.

There are franchise who would kill for that.

Red Hood and the Outlaws trades seem to have sold okay, one or two volumes always seem to be in the top 100 -200 DC best sellers on Amazon and B&N.

How did characters who haven't had a series since RSOB [Damian's 1st series] beat him in sales?

Have you got the Batman titles performance for 2015 - whenever Robin 2021 finished or is your list based on overall life span of these characters which isn't an accurate measure of current market performance.

As an example, The Superman title has sold way more comic issues than Nightwing but Dick Grayson out selling Clark Kent and every other JL member in the monthly charts.

Btw. by the time they cancelled the book Shadow War was either coming up or going on, It doesn't really make much sense to cancel a book based on sales if you have just a pretty big cross over coming up or going on.
I think they would usually wait to see how the cross over does and if it brings up the sales.

Even taking into account it being a late release it’s still pathetic that Tim’s book is below Jace’s. Tim is finished, he can’t carry a book as he is anymore.

It's hard to say. Tim's bisexuality is a big deal for them, and also there are a lot of people in Bat-Office and DC at all, who really like Tim (imagine how pissed off they were after Gunn announced Brave and Bold). I guess it will keep going until 12th issue.
