I miss the creepy factor of Circe, especially with her Beastiamorphs. Perez did a great job of depicting all manner of frightening creatures to do her bidding.

Indeed. Although, she was pretty scary in Justice League Dark as well.

I don't get why some readers don't like this design. It isn't my favorite look but it's more unique than her New 52 depiction and less embarrassing than some of what she wore in the 90s and 2000s.

Because it's boring, and she looks like she's headed to a PTA meeting.
I want a bombastic Circe and not one who looks like she has a wine and painkiller addiction.
