Default Favorite tv series RIGHT NOW

What is your current favorite tv series - whether streaming, cable, network tv. What series are you addicted to right now.

Doesn't have to be a new series. It can be one that you missed when it came out and you are now catching up with it.

New stuff from the last 3 months or so Orville New Horizons, Star Trek Strange New Worlds, Star Trek Prodigy, enjoying 1923 while not a Yellowstone fan. I recently watched the Offer and Sandman both were good. Superman and Lois (Waiting for Upcoming Season), Mandalorian (Waiting for Upcoming Season), Andor, Wednesday, & She-Hulk.

    It depends on the genre:

Fantasy/Drama - Squid Games (still, and I count it as current because a second season is apparently coming)

Anime/Animated - Chainsawman (think Tokyo Ghoul meets Black Lagoon)

True Crime/Thriller - Dahmer (Evan Peters' portrayal was disturbing yet fascinating)

Superhero subversion - The Boys (the best take on superhero shows in a decade at least)

Superhero traditional - Superman and Lois (the best traditional take on superhero shows and Superman in decades)

Edit - How could I forget these two excellent series? -

Sci-fi/Social Commentary - Upload (scathing dark comedy/drama about the social impacts of advanced technology).

Teen/Young Adult Drama - Wednesday (a fresh new take on a classic series/character that actually *gasp* works)

The last couple of months I've been getting in touch with my Canadian identity by watching LETTERKENNY. I've only finished the first seven seasons, so no spoilers please. I should be up to date in a few weeks.

Last several months that I either really liked or loved:
    • Wednesday
    • Tulsa King
    • Spartacus (2010), ran 4 seasons
    • Star Trek Prodigy(back 10 eps of S1)
    • Andor
    • TWD S11 finale run of episodes
    • Stargirl S3 final season

Watched and enjoyed but could be tighter:
    • Willow the Series
    • Transformers Earthspark

    Currently watching: The Serpent Queen
Immediate Next: Interview with the Vampire, The White Princess

On Deck when seasons are complete: National Treasure Edge of History, Titans S4, Doom Patrol S4, Yellowstone S5, YS: 1923, Quantum Leap (new show continuation)
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime

I'm feeling like "none" right now. What little I am watching I'm not even enjoying that much (but that's not true for Cobra Kai though, I love it). 1899 was cancelled.

Cobra Kai and Succession are my favorite shows right now. House of the Dragon is so meh (compared to the book), I only watch it or suffer it because I'm bored and a huge GoT fan, fan of Martin's mythos.

The Boys I will probably enjoy, just have to read the comics first (which I own in nice custom bounds), so holding off.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

    Enjoying Bad Batch
    Enjoyed Wednesday
Thought Willow was ok but has promise( I think)
Andor was the best tv show I watched last year by far
And as Panic stated about Britannia which I somehow hope gets renewed is my favorite show in a long time.

Oh I also enjoyed all the Marvel shows from one degree to another. Probably She-Hulk was my favorite from last year?

For a good laugh nothing for me beats Ghosts. The American version on CBS. I love that show so much there has only been one episode that I didnt care for.

My favourite show that’s currently ongoing is definitely Succession.

    Snowfall

    Forget about "Right Now..."

It is one of the finest shows ever to grace the small screen.
