ImperiousWrecked this week. So many great covers though

Honorable Mentions to CaptainCleghorn for that memorable Daredevil vs Sub-Mariner story with Wally Wood on the art
and Reviresco for the first Super-Villain "team up" of Sub-Mariner and Doctor Doom

I am surprised there weren't more of Alex Ross's covers. IMO he does a great Namor

    Obviously, not an entry

I never watched Star Trek but since I read Marvel, I obviously knew Namor and the resemblance was noted many times by readers in Marvel lettercols, and was also referred to at times in-story by Marvel characters themselves; and the resemblance was even a key part of a Not Brand Echh story--the NBE story was drawn by Dan Adkins, who, as noted earlier, loved to use--ahem--reference

And it wasn't only Adkins, here's Spock from a 1968 ST episode alongside our pal Sal's Namor in 1970's Sub-Mariner #28.

Many years later when I watched ST (reruns of course) I was like, oh, so that's the Sub-Mariner lookalike!

Scott Taylor, for the pure nostalgic joy of that Trimpe cover. Also thought CaptCleghorn and Stony were good ones.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

K7P5V, for the John Buscema cover that came to mind when I saw the topic.

I'll go with Tami this week. SquirrelMan and ImperiusWrecked are both close runners up, though.
