But nobody in MJ's life finds it weird she's married to a different Peter Parker?

If they move away, as they did, who would know?

Nobody in MJ's life even knew Ben existed, as far as I am aware. His existence was a pretty well kept secret and after encountering Anna Watson and pretending to be Peter, Ben decided to die his hair blonde...which is like Clark Kent putting on glasses....apparently.

Who are you really talking about? Unnamed characters?

........ I didn't like the revelation that Ben was initially "the real" Peter and the Peter since that story in 1975 was a duplicate. it was too much of an emotional gut punch. it was a haphazard way of trying to reassert a single spider-Man without killing mary jane, etc.
the clone saga legacy is the co-worst to ever happen to the franchise, after Venom's forced push into being a hero.

Did you enjoy reading the 90s Clone Saga while it was being published?

The first clone saga from the '70s was very entertaining.
So I gave the '90s sequel a try.
It started out good enough but it just went on and on and on.
Almost like the powers-that-were had no idea how to end it.
To be honest I gave up on it.
To this day I don't really know how it ended.

What if I were to tell you it hasn't ended?

Between Clone Conspiracy, Beyond, Dark Web, and the various supporting characters and villains that have been cloned recently such as Harry Lyman, Kafka, Ned, Kraven, Doc Ock, the Lizard’s family, etc. … we’re in a very loosey goosey “third Clone Saga.” If you’re looking at it from a wider Marvel Universe perspective, you can even include all the Krakoa stuff happening in the X-books.

Love it! Got me initially into comics and Spider-Man in general. Also gave me my favorite issue, ASM#400 by JMD. Life of Reilly is the the companion guide we never asked for, but needed.
