I’m ecstatic about this. I really want to see what she has done with the rings and what the rings have done with her.

I loathe the idea that the rings can do something to someone. They aren't the one ring of Sauron. The original rings were just circuitry ripped out of the spaceship of a morally mostly decent bunch of aliens who looked like dragons. Tem Borjigin modified them into zapper weapons. And the current rings aren't even the originals. Tem Borjigin replaced them periodically over the years, some because they became obsolete, others because they were destroyed in battle.

I hate when they are discussed as if they are ancient artifacts of limitless evil. They are the gadgets of a genius gadgeteer villain, an evil Tony Stark. The Mandarin is an evil Tony Stark, not an evil Silver Surfer or Juggernaut. He reverse engineered technology and used that to invent gadgets, he didn't acquire artifacts of ancient evil.
