Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel Appreciation 2023

She's probably one of the last surviving superheroes of the Heroic Age, most of them having either been killed, or retired due to age (it's roughly 27 years in the future). Solicits already confirmed that's a new Iron Man and Tony is dead. And the Avengers are apparently no more - which makes you wonder what happened to the other hero teams (Champions, X-Men, Fantastic Four).

Looking forward to seeing how that gets answered in this.

Good news guys. New Mutant did well enough that they're letting Iman continue writing Kamala - Ms. Marvel: Mutant Menace is coming in March!

Costume modified slightly - she's retrieved the heirloom bangle.

What the hell? Emma gives her the bangle back at the end of The New Mutant #4, having had it returned by a certain mutual wall-crawling friend. Peter had it the whole time, so why the hell didn't he return it when she asked him about her death in that ASM backup a couple of months ago!?! Not a good look for Spidey, that. That also means Peter was probably the one who disposed of her original body.

Feels like they just forgot it in the redesign and made it a plot point later. I don't recall Kamala mentioning that it was gone before.

Well the Krakoa revival thing doesn't use your actual body, and they gave her a completely new set of clothes.

Clearly not. Given that the bangle should've been on her corpse, it should've been retrieved by someone like Shadowkat (who could phase down to wherever the body was disposed of), not returned by Spider-Man. As far as we knew, it was her mask he kept, not her bangle.
