Going to be reading Avengers for the first time since Hickman! At least one book should give us a good T’Challa.

Hell yeah!!! Getting the writer I wanted as well as the return of Vision and Wanda to the team. I can't even begin to describe how happy I am right now.
Holy hell I didn’t even register Vision and Wanda being on the same team for the first time since… God I don’t even know when. Has Breevort finally been defeated? Will they at last put the two back together?

I am definitely in for McKay, he knows his stuff. Not super thrilled with the lineup though. Still too many characters that have their own book. I'd lose Iron Man, Thor and Black Panther replace them with some lesser knowns.
Hmmm...
Isn't that the same list of descriptors as the Twilight Court in Timeless? That suggests a 1:1 correspondence with the depicted team above. The Star. The Icon. The Witch. The Construct. The God. The Engineer. The King.
Let's see…
The Star Lancelot Captain Marvel The Icon Parsifal Captain America The Witch Mordred Scarlet Witch The Construct Bercilak Vision The God Galehaut Thor The Engineer Bedivere Iron Man The King Artur T'Challa
Really like McKay, Villa is a solid artist.
The line-up... meh. Repetitive. When they released the logo earlier, I held out hopes for a call-back to the mid-80's, bringing in Black Knight and Hercules. Maybe a character or two that is new to the team.
I do wonder, though, if this means the art released from the FCBD book is showing a new Uncanny Avengers line-up. Steve Rogers (a Cap on both teams), Quicksilver (with Wanda on the "main" team), and a few mutants. Just a thought.

Very happy with the creative team and the line up, I'm on for the ride.
And from the ruin of Aaron's mess, seems that the light returns!! The creative team is good and it's nice to see Wanda and Vision back in the Avengers.
Think I'll start reading Avengers again since Aaron's reing of terror started.
Little obvious to have Jed Mckay for Avengers. But it's a excited news.
I hope it will be diffrent from the Aaron Avengers. Because when he say this phrase, i'm not entirely reassured "This is big, loud Avengers stuff - nothing in this story should ever feel small or inconsequential". The Aaron stuff was already big and loud X)
For the line-up, it's not change so much for the precedent, but it interesting to have Sam Wilson AND not Steve Rogers. You think they're a reason ?
Also, strange to see Vision and Scarlet Witch in a team together.
