Overall I didn't think this show was as bad as the reviews say it is. The acting was a little spotty in some places, and a better budget would help with the effects. Sarah Michelle Gellar is Sarah Michelle Gellar. I've been a fan of hers since All My Children and I know she can act, but she never seems to land in anything that great since Buffy. I'm hopefully optimistic for this show.

The first episode was ok and on par with the Teen Wolf series, which is what I expected. So far there's no standout character like Dylan O'Brien, though.

None of the characters have leapt out at me the way several did in Teen Wolf, but it's pretty watchable so far. The animal CGI remains sketchy, and the way a wildfire burns cars on the street, but not the houses, is funny, but it's not like they have a Game of Thrones-like budget to work with.
