A lot of Perez's Titans designed owed a lot to Cockrum's and Byrne's work on X-Men. Starfire's hair trail was a Byrne concept used with Dark Phoenix. The glowing or eyes without pupils and skimpy bikini outfit came from Cockrum. Raven't soul self was a dark version of the Phoenix effect. I didn't really care, but as an X-Men fan, it was obvious to me.

YES! they did a design for the old Superfriends continuity! Apparently, the plan was to have a New Teen Titans series in the 80s, but only a single film was done and it was a commercial.
