I think that was the best story with Jason we got in a pretty long time.

Btw. am I the only one who thinks this issue shows that Jason is much more suited for these kind of undercover missions than the Outsiders (who imo allways had a lot of characters that are not really suited for missions like this)?

He would be a good fit, though it'd be nice if they changed up the team in a meaningful way.

Unlikely, this feels like a Red Hood book where the Outsiders got crammed into for reasons

No the Outlaws are imo much better team for these kind of stories.

Many of the members of the Outsiders (especially Black Lightning) are to "much by the rules" for the whole "team that does what needs to be done" thing.

I mean Jason could lead an Outsiders team, but that would likely end up to be more like the next incarnation of the Outlaws in all but name.

And most Outsiders in general would have issues with how far Jason is willing to go.
