Despite having had a two season order, the animated series Pantheon has been cancelled by AMC+ after just one season. The 2nd season had already been produced. And the streamer has pulled the first season from the platform. Article Link

One of the networks (TBS) is going to be a more sports oriented type deal with baseball, basketball and AEW from s report. One is going to become a dumping ground for reality TV and repeats which seems to be TNTs fate.

It found its feet post Sutter (seasons 3 and 4), IMO. Sutter took the GTA side mission aspect with him so it was more focused. Still multiple storylines happening, but more focused and the rest of the Mayans actually got more characterization.

Sounds like they have been thinking about this for a while. So at least this final season will have an appropriate conclusion vs being a regular season with a season finale retrofitted into a series finale.
