Default Is the current Deadpool ongoing any good?

Hello all, I am very new here, so apologies in advance if this isn't the proper way to go about this.

Anyways, Deadpool is one of my favorite characters, and I was curious to know if anyone had read the current series and if it's worth picking up.

I would have asked this in one of those dedicated threads for characters, but there didn't seem to be a 2023 edition for DP.

It's pretty "mid" as the kids say these days.

You may be right, but I always thought "mid tier" and "middle of the road" are synonymous

My kids say it. I think it means "mediocre" or "middle of the road," as someone else said.

    It's slang for 'middling'.

Gave up the instant it was symbiotes. Ugh.

Also, being mid is the worst crime of all because at least bad things can be so bad they’re funny.

In my case it's the usual, I hardly learn where slangs come from, I just have a general idea, make a few assumptions, and then move on lol.

While I understand this mentality, a story being pretty bad on a long runner can be damaging to a franchise, or at least a few characters.

X-Men Green is an example of this, sure, Nature Girl never had many fans, but now this is the defining story for her, she's fucked up 'cause of it.

A boring story being so forgetful, is much easier to ignore, and is damaging characters less, so while they're way less amusing to read, they're fucking over less.

Wow! Old people alert. I say even though I had no idea what “mid” meant. Trying to stay hip with the lingo is hard.

So, basically Deadpool is an easy skip then? Shame, shame… I say when I had no intention of picking it up.

X-Men Green is the worst thing to come out of the Krakoa era. :|
Aside from the story, there’s just so much wrong with it.
