I assume that Shigaraki can see and interact with curses for this fight.

Y'know, despite him having a fairly major fight scene recently, I still don't feel I have an effective idea of what Kenjaku can actually do.

Big question is if he has anything that keeps him from getting Decayed.

    spoilers:

Can he hit harder than a nearly dead Nagant's sniper bullets?

Because she recently blew off Shigaraki's hands.

He's got fairly potent gravity powers, for one

Sorry if this is incorrect. But your tone makes it feel like you're trying to sell both characters a bit short here.

    spoilers:
For one thing, we don't know if Nagant's condition had any effect beyond limiting her endurance to one shot. And that shot is by far her most impressive so far in terms of range and piercing power.
    end of spoilers

And the stuff Shiggy has withstood includes Endeavor's skyscraper slicing flames (Prominence Burn did more damage but Shiggy was still in one piece), and big attacks from Deku (including catching a 100% Smash with his mouth and only getting some bloody gums).

In the fight against Star and Stripe he was pinned to the ocean floor by a constant laser spear that vaporised the water around him, and Shiggy just kinda laughed at it.

So yeah, in addition to having to deal with Decay, Kenjaku has to punch through all that. spoilers:
And a healing factor that can regrow limbs pretty quickly as seen in the latest chapter.
    end of spoilers

Okay, I took a look at Kenjaku's recent fight and am trying to get a loose idea of what he does.

Given how he was able to fist fight with Choso and Yuki, he's got highly enhanced strength and speed. He caught a sniper bullet pretty easily back in Shibuya. His principle fighting style is centred on just spewing out low level cursed spirits and powering them up with his cursed energy so they hit way above their paygrade. Like, Yuji takes being punched through a building as a suggestion more than something actually threatening and Kenjaku reduced him to a bloody mess with a single swarm.

He can also like spit out spirits to take hits for him so he's kind of hard to land solid hits on as an opponent.

He can also manipulate gravity to to do omnidirectional defence and attacks.

I don't think we know what his Domain does yet because it got dispelled before it properly went off but it absolutely messed up Yuki something fierce with even the part that hit her.

He can regenerate through Reverse Cursed Technique and managed to do some highly specific stuff to survive a black hole.

Shigaraki definitely has way more firepower and raw durability to his name and his regen seems more "always on," while Kenjaku has to at least focus and think about it to grow stuff back. Obviously, Decay is a problem.

Advantage Shigaraki? He seems to just have more direct offensive powers to bring to bear.

EDIT: I just went and looked at Shigaraki versus Star and his regen is ridiculous. I don't think Kenjaku can do enough damage to put him down permanently.

He might have some specialised Cursed Spirits who could do something messed up but I can't think of anything he's shown that really comes close to being able to mess with something on Shigaraki's level.

I mostly meant my post in jest but you're right that I should've been more clear about that. Thanks for pointing that out.

Should we count the sniper shots as low end showings then or as Shigaraki still being a bit messed up after his new transformation?

I think it's as simple as Nagant being able to put different amounts of force in her shots.

When going after Deku she's been tasked with capturing him rather than killing. So she's aiming to mess him up before bringing him in. The shots are still dangerous, but it's not her kill shots.

In this most recent scene she's still no fully healed and only has a single shot in her. Her target is the biggest bad anybody knows and he's several miles away from her. So she gives it her all to do as much damage as she can, to the point where her insides blows out.
