    While I don't think she's a great actress, and think a new casting could easily result in someone as good or better, this seems overly dismissive of potential reasons people could like her.

    I'm also skeptical of the anecdote that she was cast because she looked good in the lighting. I think the screen test with Ben Affleck played a bigger role

    I have to agree with Siege, this seems fairly dismissive. I don't like DCAU Wondy but I'm not gonna say people only liked her because it was the only modern animated WW at the time.

    It doesn't apply to everyone of course. But I have definitely seen the other end (especially around the time WW84 came out) where folks dismiss any criticism of Gal's WW because there was a complete drought of WW content for a long time. Though maybe I am going too far in the other direction.....

    Anytime ive ever read or hear about gal its always shes a bad actress. There's the "kal el no!!" Videos memes etc too.
