Default Long unused New X-Men kids

Even though way to little, we do see the more popular New X-Men kids like Surge, Anole, Loa, Armor, Hellion and Dust every now and then.

But there also those who have not been used for ages and I was wondering who of these kids you would like to see developed more and soon.

Wind Dancer stands out to me as the character that I think to this day is still the most screwed over by Decimation, even beyond just the NXM.

Yes! The way they just wrote her out the book… like I’m glad she wasn’t on that bus but going from one of the main POV characters of that generation to NOTHING was such a sudden downgrade.

Wolf cub is part of Magik's Dark Riders. Rubbermaid was featured in one of the Unlimited series.

My pick is Dryad and Specter, now that Nature Girl is ruined forever, Is Dryad's time to shine.

I like characters who have a clear visuals for their powers, so Trance and Indra. Another non New Xmen, but from around the same time-ish I'd like to see more is Hub

I picked Cipher because of just how... backwards her powers work from a story-telling perspective. She can be used like a walking retcon generator.

Indra, Cipher, and maaaaaaaybe Trance are the only ones I think would be interesting.

Fortunately she's gotten a lot of play lately. Her recon team needs to be used more (perhaps in an ongoing basis).

I feel like Trance got fucked over by the fact that her first name was also Hope LOL

    This!

Except for Ink. Ink may well be the worst x-men character of all time.

I'm tempted to say "all of them"

Dryad and Network are a blank state, and so are the true extend of their powers. If writers stopped wanking the same characters all the time, those two could be instrumental in the Krakoa era.
I mean, yes, there are other mutants who talk to plants and to machines, but if a writer wanted to say that Network's brand of technopathy is especially effective against Nimrods or Phalanx, or that Dryad's powers are in perfect harmony with Krakoa, they just could.

Trance and DJ's powers are too cool to not be used more often.

Cipher still has an unresolved plot.

And Graymalkin. With the X-line's obsession with family ties, why did nobody exploit somebody related to Xavier?
Also, his experience as a gay man back when opression was way worse than today can also be used for more stories. There is always a Marvel Voice this, Marvel Pride that published, X-writers are including many gay characters and outing many others, yett everybody pretends that this guy doesn't exist.

The Tengu Twins need a comeback.
Heck, we need a X-Twin Academy featuring the St-Croix twins, Karma's siblings, the Tengu twins and Manon & Maxime.
Bringing back the old, killing the young: that's the Marvel way

Agreed. Not only that, but most depictions of it being just a "go out and see things" instead of doing something. The most interesting use of her power so far was when Rogue was using it, which is funny.
