Timothy Hunter of The Books of Magic is often compared to Harry Potter but he actually predates the character by seven years. Comic Drake discusses him in a 23-minute video.

Other than Wonder Woman, what DC mystical characters could you see as stars of their own game? You can include Wonder Woman spinoff characters like Nubia, Artemis or Donna if you want.

City Boy from Greg Pak. Pak teased his powers are more supernatural in nature.

Anna Fortune and King Standish from Sturges run on JSA.

Xanthe of Spirit World

I'm fond of action rpgs so I'd probably do something like that for most of them.
The Akkadian pantheon and JSA could have more team based mechanics. While City Boy is a more stealth based character.

Yeah definetely, the mana/energy system could put a good limit for Zatanna. The writers and developers then could just focus on making engaging story and fun fluid gameplay with Zee's flexibility. Also perhaps taking cues from Bayonetta especially not shying to make the character really cool & confident and Bioshock Infinite, God of War or Uncharted for story and character dynamic.
Would add Blue Devil as other playable character in Etrigan game xd

Halfway thru Shadowpact. Its a decent series. Charming really.
Real annoyed comixology only had 16 issues.
Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
The spirit world comic just dropped today, with a new hero and world joining the magical community, and I enjoyed it. Between this and the Monkey Prince DC should really just go all out with their Magic side. It's sets it apart from Marvel who may dominate the cosmic side, especially considering Marvel being boring and saying all their magic is just science.
Trying the link in the browser produces this from www.dc.com:Apparently, Shockingjustice tried to link to a "webp" instead of a "jpeg" image.
RIDDLE ME THIS. RIDDLE ME THAT.
Oops! Are you lost? Looks like you found a nonexistent page.
Just go to this website: https://www.dc.com/blog/2022/01/28/f...-monkey-prince
where there's an image for the cover of Monkey Prince #1.
Spirit World had a fun debut today. It incorporates Chinese mythology in a fun way.
Thank you.

I also really liked Spirit World. Between SW, Monkey King and City Boy, I’m really enjoying all the new mystical elements that DC have been introducing. I just hope they all find a home when their respective minis are done.
We need at least one mystical team, DC! Still hoping for a Shadowpact revival soon.
My team would be Zatanna, Blue Devil, Xanthe (from Spirit World), Deadman, Ragman and Black Alice.
Are there any supernatural characters you think work better in their own separate universe?
Simon Dark by Steve Niles doesn't really make use of Gotham as a setting. You could cut all the DC connections and do it seperate from DC like Sandman tends to be.
Constantine and Tim Hunter are 50/50. They work better outside of it but they can work within the DCU.
Other than those few, none come to mind.
I'm fine with moving the Supernatural characters to the Sandman imprint but that would be unnecessary.
Are there any drawbacks to them being in the DCU?
