When Vixen (as a Suicide Squad member) and Gypsy made appearances in the JLI era, G&D went out of their way to treat their relationships with J'onn Jonzz with gravitas and respect.
Morrison and company, however, went out of their way to portray the League members from Giffen&DeMatteiss all the way up to the most recent line-up before Morrison took over with contempt as incompetent losers who were lucky that the League still had their numbers whenever they appeared in group shots. My guess is that the behind-the-scenes hate for everything Giffen was doing with the League (as well as some of the more lackluster creative teams and team rosters after his time) greatly outweighed whatever disdain might have existed for the Detroit League.
