Thank you so very much. I mean that, with all sincerity. Why? Because you included Spider-Man in your roster and considering that Spider-Man has been a friend/comrade/ally to the X-Men for years and was an Avenger in quasi-good standing for a good portion of the 21st century thus far . . . him being on the Avengers Unity Squad makes a lot of sense. (All right, so he was on Gerry Duggan's Uncanny Avengers, too, but only for the first issue, like a bait and switch.)
As for my roster for what should be called X-Avengers, or Avengers X (if it's going to be a Unity Squad, I do think it needs to have more of an X-motif included), here goes, off the top of my head:
X-Men --- Sunspot, Cannonball, Wolverine (Logan), Rogue
Avengers --- Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Julia Carpenter (preferably Arachne again, but I'm willing to work with her as Madame Web), Captain America (Steve Rogers, since Sam Wilson is going to be the Captain America of the core Avengers team), and Scarlet Witch.
And to round it out to an even 10 (hence Avengers "X"), later on, the team will be joined by Quicksilver and Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), with Quicksilver representing the "X" from his time in X-Factor and Ms. Marvel as an Avengers representative. Of course, it is somewhat of a gray zone, given Quicksilver's own longstanding ties with the Avengers and Ms. Marvel leaning closer to the X-Men in recent years due to her friendship with Cyclops (his temporally displaced past self, mainly, but the adult Cyclops still remembers and appreciates her a lot), to say nothing of her MCU self being hinted as a mutant. However, I think that'll just lead to greater understanding and perhaps true unity between them, as it were.

The spider is always on the hunt.
Representing the Avengers:
- Captain America (Steve Rogers)
- Justice (Vance Astrovik)
- Photon (Monica Rambeau)
- Spider-Man (Peter Parker)
Representing the X-Men:
- Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner)
- Havok (Alex Summers)
- Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde)
- Khora of the Burning Heart
Supporting characters:
- Beast (Hank McCoy)
- Sharon Carter
In the aftermath of AXE: Judgment Day, Captain America decides to reassemble the Unity Squad to capitalise on the goodwill being shown by the Phoenix Foundation. He recruits Justice and Photon, both former Avengers and Justice a mutant himself, to the roster. He invites Havok to reclaim his mantle as the Squad's leader, only to find him at a crossroads as recent events (from AXIS onwards) have forced him into an identity crisis. He manages to convince Havok to sign up to find a renewed sense of purpose and, shocked at how far his old friend Beast has fallen, brings him into the fold on a tight leash - purely as tech support, watched over closely by Sharon Carter - in the hopes of helping him to reach redemption.
With Havok not ready for a leadership role, Cap asks Nightcrawler to take the reins, having seen his bravery and ability to inspire in the battle against the Progenitor. Shadowcat is sick of the politics and corruption within Krakoa and so steps away from the Marauders and the Quiet Council, keen to return to the X-Men's mission of cultivating peace between humans and mutants in a more direct way. Keen to include the Arakki in the fostering of strong relationships, Storm assigns Khora as an emissary to join the team and asks Shadowcat to watch over her. In true Avengers style, Spider-Man happens onto the Squad's first battle but Cap realises he belongs with the team and he joins at the end of their initial mission.
"When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — No, you move."
So, almost the whole Academy X roster, or at least its best(-known) members, plus Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes, with Captain America, Wasp, and D-Man as the (more) veteran heroes . . . good roster. Very good roster.
Also, shout-out to Agent Grayson for bringing Spider-Man (Peter Parker) onboard, too, and for bringing Monica Rambeau back to the Avengers as well. Can't forget about Justice, either: "Just because I have powers that make it tempting for me to ignore the law . . . doesn't give me the right to." Paraphrasing, but still. Granted, the premise somewhat falls apart when it comes to unjust laws or unjust enforcement of laws, but it is a noble sentiment I can respect.
The spider is always on the hunt.

Reading List (Super behind but reading them nonetheless):
DC: Currently figuring that out
Marvel: Read above
Image: Killadelphia, Nightmare Blog
Other: The Antagonist, Something is Killing the Children, Avatar: TLAB
Manga: My Hero Academia, MHA: Vigilanties, Soul Eater: the Perfect Edition, Berserk, Hunter X Hunter, Witch Hat Atelier, Kaiju No. 8
I feel like Uncanny Avengers is the perfect place to showcase characters with strong ties amidst all the different teams. So something like...
Havok
Polaris
Quicksilver
Scarlet Witch
Vision
Wonderman
Beast
Wasp
-Pav, who sees guest appearances by Crystal, Young Avengers, Justice and Firestar...
You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back.
"You're not the better one, Peter. You're just older."

Alex Summers (Havok)
Madelyne Pryor (Goblin Queen)
Genis-vell (Captain Marvell)
Doc (Samson) Sasquatch
Warren Worthington (Archangel)
Kristoff Von Doom
Lorna Dane (Polaris)
Jeanne-Marie Beaubier (Aurora)
This team has issues with Mr Sinister, Thanos, Apocalypse, Stryfe, Dr Doom, the Hulk, and Magneto. There is also a built in love triangle Maddy/Alex/Lorna, Aurora has a romantic history with Sasquatch but not Doc Samson, who is a shrink while Aurora has mental issues. Havok also has ties to the Shi-Ar while Genis is half Kree. While Maddy has ties to magic. This covers all of the edges of the Marvel Universe sort of like Wolfman's New Teen Titans had ties to all the corners of DC back in the 80's.
