Post Marvel Hero who was once popular now doesn't seem that big anymore

    - I remember Wonder Man was relevant in the 80's and 90's Avengers run. But now he is nowhere to be seen.
    - Monica Rambeau was popular in the 80's Avengers run and even get to become the first black woman superhero to lead the Avenger team.
    - Multiple Man was the star of Peter's X-Factor run where it still remain classic and amazing and now most of the casts are all limbo.

I wouldn't say extremely popular, but Crystal was a member of the Fantastic Four for a while on and off, for like 2 decades, and was on the Avengers in the 90's. She was even in the Avengers arcade game in the 90's. After the Onslaught event, she faded to the background. She was present in War of Kings, but it didn't compare to 90's Crystal. She was even one of the protagonists of the X-Men/Avengers crossover event - Bloodties.

Yeah, Hank's currently dead. He is constantly referenced though, whenever one of the Wasps or Ant-Man appears.

About the names in the first post, Monica's going to be in The Marvels movie and Wonder Man has a Disney+ show in the works, so both should see a resurgence soon.

Wolverine and Punisher. They haven't fallen off a cliff or anything, but compared to what they were in the eighties and nineties?

I think it would have to be way after because She-Hulk and Crystal weren't even Avengers until after it.

Plus Giant-Man is the most popular persona according to that, so I assume Hank was back in that identity by then? He was Yellowjacket at the time of the slap. Part of the fallout was him retiring the identity. He did seem to revive it later but that was a Skrull. The real Hank has always been Giant-Man since then, except for the period where he didn't use a superhero alias at all and when he was Wasp when he thought Janet was dead.

Yeah it's usually Giant Man but he did go back to being Goliath for a bit when he returned as an active member of the Avengers during Busiek's run.

Needless to say, the Fantastic Four. They were Marvel's flagship comic, the ones who started it all, but eventually, they fell in the shadow of other franchises, such as Spider-Man and X-Men. Still, although sales fell, Marvel always kept publishing them no matter what.

At least until they canceled the comic as a negotiation tactic with FOX for the film rights. But after some years, they returned, and it seems that they will be here for good again.

Don't remind me.... that was a low point in Byrne's West Point Avengers.

Namor used to be huge, but even his recent movie portrail couldn't boost his image.
