Even worse? The New 52 one is not even in the same universe as this crap. I mean, why even wear clothes when this is your costume?

I'll not hear Martian Manhunter, Discowing, and Biker Diana besmirched here!!

If anyone deserves a dishonorable mention, it's Jim Lee's lazy "construction lines" over pre-existing costumes.

As I have stated in previous threads of this nature, all costumes should be modeled by models before they make it onto a comic page. If the modeled costume doesn't make you toss your cookies and/or laugh uproariously, then and only then should be seen with pencil and ink.

One thing I saw years ago that was utterly hilarious... a cosplayer managed to duplicate this look by carefully positioning seams.... and then someone who took photos of the costume.... edited the seams out in photoshop because they felt it "looked wrong" despite being an exact match for the way the costume looked on paper.

Exactly my point. What may look fine drawn might not look so hot in reality.

^^ Yeah, that Alan Scott costume was horrific. If anyone thought his red shirt, green pants, purple cape combo looked bad (which I don't, btw) that one surpassed it by a mile. The only comfort was knowing it wasn't going to be permanent. (that's what I told myself anyway)

Regarding the WW costumes here: though I'm not an advocate for Diana to wear pants, they are still preferable to Wonder Thong. The latter might be considered sexy, but dignified it's not.

Right. That's why when they make TV shows or movies, the supers are rarely shown in their respective comics costumes.

Honestly, I always thought this one was a coloring mistake than they later never knew how to fix.

But this one, from Halo, really is one of the worst:
