The whole thing about mutation, killing millions of people and rule over the survivors has obviously been used more than once, and made me think of this old Superman issue. But unlike Apocalypse, the pre-Crisis Radion didn't return again and again in the Superman comic in several storylines, determined to go through with his survival of the fittest plans.

This is actually one of my favorite storylines & one of my favorite periods for Superman comics. Gerry Conway did some great stuff. I remember Radion had a partner called the Protector I think.
