Gail's run really had some phenomenal artistic support on some stretches!

Agreed, Lopresti in particular is really underrated IMO. In terms of runs with rotating artists it's basically impossible to beat Scott/Evely/Sharpe but the Dodson/Lopresti/Chang line-up definitely holds its own.

Absolute no-brainer for me, the flat red/white stripe classics. No preference between the Perez standard and the slouchier Adam Hughes version.

We haven't seen much of them yet but I also really like how Daniel Sampere modernized the red/white boots with the Rebirth costume:

SF's WW's boots aren't gogo boots. They're just heeled boots.

I call them that because they're the most pedestrian and unanadorned, like boots you could buy at the mall in real life if it were 1974.

These all-red "GO-GOS" are perhaps my favorite. They just look...so red, lol. I think they balance the red in WW's top.

It would be interesting to go through each aspect of her look piece by piece
What you're favorite boots? Your favorite tiara? You're favorite bracelets? Favorite hair style? Etc etc
and then get somebody to draw out the final result.

Yep... He did all the character turn arounds, designed some baddies, etc.

I had thought that the All-Red Bold Boots was a new look for when Diana regained her powers and returned to her costume after being depowered.

It's basically happening at about the same time. The comics being influenced by Toth's version for the first season of SF in 73.

Each artist in the comics then has their own artistic take on it, but he really is the one to credit . The less fussy boots, the eagle melding into a double pointed belt, the fewer and larger stars. That's all Toth. And that amazing flip!

Continuing from the 40s, her look didn't change that much. Curly top, long line shorts ( in varying lengths) , tiara that wrapped around her head, etc. Even in her first animated appearance in the Brady Kids, she looks like this.
And while the comics tried to loosen up her hair at some point, they ended up going back to the curly top look.

So Toth really modernized WW's look for the new generation.
