    Probably they want to give a proper send off to these incarnations before the MCU X-Men debut.
    I do not find this as something negative.

    If any characters got proper send off, it is these characters they are trying to bring back. Xavier, Wolverine, Logan.

    If it bothers you that much then don’t watch the new movies. For you Logan can be where the story ends. That’s your choice to make.

    Don’t try to force that choice on others.
