Default Konrad Curze replaces Thanos during The Avengers: Infinity War

What it says on the tin. Thanos is taking a vacation, and in his stead, he's allowing the Primarch of the Night Lords legion to take his place.

Konrad knows nothing about the MCU or The Avengers. All he knows is that he needs to acquire the Infinity Stones in the same order that Thanos did during the movie and commit to The Snap. The Black Order and all of Thanos's forces will be assisting him fully.

However, The Avengers and The Guardians Of The Galaxy will have a big advantage! One year to prepare.

During this year of prep, they will be given access to the Disney+ library, including Avengers: Infinity War, and they will be allowed to see how things played out with Thanos in the base reality and change their tactics accordingly. In particular, they may want Peter Quill to pay close attention so he doesn't **** up again.

Two, they will be given full access to the entire Black Library and to everyone at Games Workshop. They will have full meta knowledge of Curze and his backstory, powers, weapons, etc.

Not sure how this will help them, considering that Konrad will probably deviate from anything Thanos would have done.

Depending on where on the timeline Curze is plucked out to do this, there is a possibility he might not even bother utilizing the Black Order since he'll be in full Night Haunter mode. Then it's just a matter of if the Avengers/GotG can handle Crazy Terrorist Batman trying to gut them like a horror movie slasher.

Ultimately, I do think he has a good chance. While he's not a battlefield monster like Angron, he's still a primarch who's particularly good with stealth.
