Default What are all the DC TEAMS Pt. 1

I saw the Thunderbolts appreciation thread over in marvel and I realized, and I really was stumped why Dc had so few teams.
HOWEVER! I know thats completely WRONG. They don't have an X-Men LEVEL franchise so to speak but There are plenty and a lot that we've forgotten right?
So he's my off the top of my head list, but what I want to consider is there enough room in the DCU for these teams to have thier own mandates or niche? What if they were expanded? I'm not Counting the wildstorm books for this.
    But first my list:
    JUSTICE LEAGUE
    JUSTICE SOCIETY
JUSTICE LEAGUE: International (Superbuddies whatever you call Maxwell Lord and Captain Atoms team)
Shadow Pact (Aka Justice League Dark)
    Titans
    Terrifics.
    Metal Men
    Infinity, Inc
    Power Company
    Outsiders
    The Outlaws
    Forever People
    Legion of Super heroes
    Suicide Squad
    Checkmate
    Leviathan?
    Challengers of the Unknown
    Global Guardians
    Immortal men
    and the Great 10.
    Ah... the uhm..
Freedom Fighters I guess if we wanna grab off an off world team (i kind of don't but here we are)
    Is that it?

Is that everybody? I feel like I'm missing a few real team books
My priority is enjoying and supporting stories of timeless heroism and conflict.
    Everything else is irrelevant.

Justice League of China? Team Titans?

Force of July considered themselves a hero team, even if the Outsiders might not have agreed...

    Same with the People's Heroes.

it is kind of sad that with all of the characters and teams that DC has they are only able to get a very small few off the ground at a time. Currently we only have what....Titans, JSA and Batman Inc being published? We do have Doom Patrol coming and eventually a Justice League but there's opportunities for so many more.

Unfortunately, at DC if a team currently has no ongoing series they get treated as if they don't exist.

Yeah, Titans are currently in Nightwing, and have their own book solicited, and the JSA and Batman Inc have books. And Doom Patrol is also solicited. Justice League, Young Justice, Teen Titans, Suicide Squad, none of those have books announced yet.

No I wouldn't because they... there are green laterns on everyteam and I guess I should have gotten the bolts down to what I meant exactly. I more meant teams that have had books, but I guess there are some key ones that DIDN'T have a book.

    Its crazy.

The Green Lantern Corps was once referred to by a writer as 'Hill Street Blues in space'. Of course, most people today don't know what Hill Street Blues was.
    It was a cop show.

They aren't so much a team these days as an 'association'.
However, they were a team in the traditional sense during the mid-'80s with a set group: Arisia, Katma Tui, Ch'p, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Kilowog and Salakk.

Would the New Gods of Apokolips and New Genesis be included as a DC team?

No, they're really not a team. They're closer to a race.
