No, that was Lois's sister, Lucy Lane, who was with Ron Troup. (I don't remember if they got married.) Does Ron Troup still exist post-Flashback?

That's good. He's not my favorite character but I did like him when I read the Superman books back in the 90's. I was annoyed when I first read the Superman 2000 pitch by Waid, Morrison, etc., and it basically suggested either dropping him from the Daily Planet in order to make room for bringing back Steve Lombard (dafuq?), or making him a possible secret identity of their proposed new Kryptonite Man.

This makes me want the Milestone characters folded into the proper DCU fully. Have Jeff take Static under his wing for mentorship (not connected at the hip like Batman and Robin). Call me crazy but I'd also like to see a (much better handled) "Hard Traveling Heroes" style book with BL and Icon, emphasis on the better handled part.

I wish that DC would give BL another solid chance at a series on his own (granted his daughters would be there as well of course). I know ever time they do it invites some drama (earned and unearned), however if not then we need another Outsiders run, one preferably sans ties to the Batman and allow them to expand their scope.

it's from Bryan Hill's run on Outsiders from a couple years back. my issues with the series as a whole aside, it did serve as a consistently solid Black Lightning showcase. Hill made it a stealth point to pitch Black Lightning as a marquis hero within the larger DC pantheon and Dexter Soy did a good job of regularly highlighting Black Lightning's power and abilities.

I also love his 90s suit. It'd be awesome to see it get a revamp with the usual colors instead of the red. Throw in the mask for good measure.

Hearing that makes me wish he'd been on the JL at the start of the N52 as well. Could've gotten better treatment than Cyborg since his powers don't relegate him to watchtower duty/"bus driver".

I would have loved to see that too. I missed out on this Outsider's run, but I heard great things on how BL was handled. Even giving him actual 'black' lightning. Would you say they finally made BL as powerful as Wildstorm's Jenny Sparks? I remember her being a beast.

Don't know tbh, not familiar with her character at all lol
