    I think it was likely a spammer using AI to sound like it was relevant to the thread. Another joy of modern tech.

    I remember the post and it looked legit. I didn't look for any embedded links, but if it wasn't a legit post, it looked like one we'd like as it supports the contest.

    I remember thinking at the time that wording felt a bit stilted, and wondered if it might have been a bot. About the same time, there was spam advertising post on the board from some web service called Chromium. I wonder if the bot picked up on 'Chromium' being the title of this thread and posted something.
