First things first, I am really enjoying how North is writing Johnny so far. It's been a very long time since I've had fun reading him as I think the past two writers (Slott and Robinson) have tended to go down the depressing route. In an attempt to give him depth they put him through the wringer which meant he didn't get to be his usual jovial self. It's great to have him back.
I didn't like the moustache at first, but it's grown on me. I put a poll up. Do you like the new facial hair and should he keep it?

I don't mind him with a moustache. I've just never been a fan of the Hulk Hogan style. I think they're called horseshoe 'staches. So I'd say get rid of all or part of it.
That is an epic 'stache. He need to keep it for a good long time.
And I will bring this other discussion over here from the main FF thread...Johnny needs to meet his kid and be a dad. Make is so that when the mom jumped into the time machine she did not go that far...just a few months back in time so the kid would be 3-5 years old now.
All I wanted was to be unconditionally loved while never having to work on my flaws. Is that so much to ask?
Not a fan of Johnny's mustache, but it will probably take some getting used to, most likely Johnny will be wearing a mustache in this whole run
Johnny (so far) seems to be the only FF member in the Contest of Chaos event. I wonder if the cover is accurate to who he will fight in it.

So far, I really like how North writes Johnny. Instead of playing into the usual "he needs to grow up" trope. North has just let's Johnny has fun and it not be a problem. It's refreshing after so many runs having his story be about having to mature.
I'm looking forward to next week's issue where he teams up with Sue to save the day. I hope this run doesn't fall into the same trap as all the others.

Blondes and mustaches don’t mix. A beard would work better and it would likely be naturally darker than the hair on top of his head.

And that is a fantastic way to handle Johnny. I have long suspected Ben has maintained a less educated manner and vocabulary in order to get his foes to underestimate him. Johnny doing the same with his man-child persona makes a lot of sense as well. Heroes who have been at this for well over a decade their time should have developed extra skills beside how to punch and stuff.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
He looks like a 1970s porn star.
