Ortega expanded her survivor character in her sequel Scream movie that has been even more successful so I'm not pessimistic about this or her growing footprint.

She was also pretty good in X (horror film) and You (Netflix series). She's not a one-note actress.

I hope so, it'd be disappointing if they're not. Although it might increase costs a bit - Keaton's Beetlejuice is easy, makeup can hide how he's aged, but they'll have to use CGI to hide how the other characters have aged (since ghosts don't really grow old).

Geena Davis looks good for her age I think make up alone could possibly hide her real age. Baldwin's the bigger challenge given how does a Ghost gain weight. They might cop out and just say they "Moved On".

Geena Davis definitely looks good for her age, or to be honest any age, but I'm still not sure make up alone can make her look like she did 30 years ago. And you're right about Baldwin's weight. But I'd still rather they CGI off the years and pounds and keep the actors if possible - but I'd understand if they felt it'd cut too much into the film's budget. Still, would be a shame to lose them.

Keaton said most of the effects will be classic effects. makeup, puppets, etc. I can see them using cg on the actors but sounds like this could be a cheaper made film. I could see some of beetlejuices powers use cg.

If I'm reading this right, she was trying to use him to boost her career, went to a Hotel room with him alone, slept in the same bed with him dozens of times, and is claiming now that she's a victim? Somehow I really don't have much sympathy for her.
