I think the bigger question is when and how they met? The guy's the shadow leader of the US, why would he start something with a random Amazon or even find out about her? Since the implication people only know about Emelie after she massacred that bar.

It can be a case where he finds her and overpowers her with LOL amplifying turning her mind against the world of men in order to set the subsequent events in motion. Emelie being the pawn for his bigger agenda.

Him being the daddy of Trinity is something I can't figure out, it can be a case of insemination, to have her bear his child

Sovereign seems to have a life outside his role as shadow king, though. His meeting with the president, for example, felt pretty casual (broad daylight, business suit....). He also seems to be legit/mundane enough that normal soldiers visit him in his home without raising suspicions.
