Small time "Back In The Day..." spoilers -

    spoilers:
To be honest, where it looks like they are going feels a bit like it could be copping the WildC.A.T.S./Spawn crossover mini from the "Classic Coke..." Image days...
    end of spoilers

Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way

Don't know how these things get greenlit. All flash, no substance.

Seems I'm no longer the audience such stories are geared towards. Which is fine I guess.

Honestly solicit of issue 8 didn't give me good vibes. Not so fond of that new roster and yeah as many have said the plot is getting more and more messy and complicated.

This really can all be blamed on them not picking a good writer for Wildcats.

Like Matthew Rosenberg is already a mediocre at best writer and even his previous stories like Task Force Z and Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing also have a sort of random events plot.

If they wanted to build up and establish more Wildstorm characters as officially being apart of the DCU they should picked an actually good writer.

I remember thinking the Grifter Urban Legends story was a little all over the place. Seems like that translated to the actual WildCATS book.

    WILDC.A.T.S #8
    ...
The world is dying. Grifter may just be our last hope, but things aren’t looking too good for him either. Luckily, his trusty teammates will stand by his side until the end. Meet the new WildC.A.T.s: Green Arrow, Robin, Savant, Scarecrow, Maul, and Midnighter.
Oh jeez. I know that in the WildStorm Anniversay Special or whatever, Lord Emp argues that Radical Change is the core of the team or whatever, but I wasn't hoping for that to mean "the DCU just completely EATS the WildC.A.T.s," you know?
"You know the deal, Metropolis. Treat people right or expect a visit from me."
