Since my two favorite characters (a billionaire polymath and an orphaned alien with super powers) are not really relatable, I'll go with Jimmy Olsen because we both have freckles.

^^^God. I’ve been lucky enough to have several Boosters.
One in particular growing up, and the rest after I joined the Army, where over 23 years I had 8 different duty stations. I was always lucky enough to find one great partner in crime (one would actually be Goldstar, to fit the analogy), and a few times a whole JLI!

Milligan’s Shade, the changing man. Reread #30 today on DCUI Ultra over 30 years after I last read it and, damn, can I relate to Shade’s self-analysis.

When I was an angsty teen I really related to Wildfire. Now that I'm an angsty adult ... Wildfire.

Ha. Just goes to show that "relatable" is a very ethereal and elastic quality.

And yeah, he was into NIN, I think Tool as well? They're not straight metal like Pantera, Metallica, or Black Label Society, but I still put them in the same basic category (insofar as Tool can be categorized anyway, they largely ignore labels and defy definition, the brilliant bastards). I don't recall Kyle being a big fan of grunge like Nirvana and Pearl Jam though, which you'd think he'd have listened to as well. I don't know many folks who liked NIN but not grunge.

Wally West - Still the only DC sidekick to take the mantle of his predecessor on a permanent basis.
Kyle Rayner - Marz doesn't get the props he deserves, especially writing Kyle.

I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
