So happy that Monet, Rogue, and Kwannon have a set home. Now who in the world is Captain Krakoa?

Love the line-up, a bit X-Men heavy but don't mind especially since it was 3 of my favorite X-women. <3

It's more even if you're counting it in terms of actual humans vs mutants vs x characters vs non x

I kinda miss what Duggan said, something about this team being important because of frayed relationships or something? I was trying to get screen captures of what looked like some panels but I fudged it.

For sure, I think they should have taken the idea of calling it Mighty X-Men this turn around.

Duggan writing Uncanny Avengers again? Two team books? How much will they coordinate? Will he end up dropping main X-Men?

So I guess this is Uncanny Avengers by way of the X-Office compared to the previous volumes. Which is especially obvious in the roster. I mean, the only noticeable Avengers are Cap and Quicksilver and even Quicksilver is more associated with the X-Men than his sister because of X-Factor. I'm surprised Duggan didn't bring Synapse back (though I guess we're just ignoring Inhumans as much as we possibly can).

Duggan writing a married Rogue on the same team as Deadpool tho...

Yep, that's pretty much what he said. He implied Fall of X has consequences for how the wider Marvel universe sees X-Men. Even more so then usual I guess?

Could Cable be Captain Krakoa this time around? Probably not. But Duggan does love the character. And he was on the last UA team with Rogue, Deadpool and Captain America.

"This August, the Avengers’ Unity Squad will return in a new run of UNCANNY AVENGERS written by Gerry Duggan and drawn by Javier Garrón. Innocent people and world leaders are dead after simultaneous attacks on the U.S. and Krakoan governments, and that means one thing: it's time for a new squad of Avengers.

False flag attacks meant to whip up anti-mutant hysteria are unfolding and hey, some of Steve Rogers' best friends are mutants. Marvel’s new unity squad will include Captain America, Rogue, Deadpool, Quicksilver, Psylocke, and Penance. This powerhouse new team must solve the mystery of who the new, murderous Captain Krakoa is—and stop his team of killers from igniting the fires of a new world war."

Maybe Orchis finds a way to publicize what Mutants did in the Sins of Sinister timeline? Or publishes everything Beast ever did .

This feels more like an X-Men team than an Avengers team.

"some of Steve Rogers' best friends are mutants." They actually went there. That had to be intentional, right?

Captain Krakoa is the Big Bad? I wonder who his team is.

I am not sure about that as Tom Brevoort is the editor.
