Never liked the concept of a Unity Squad (heck, the Avengers always took in members from all walks of life), and like even less this line-up (Cap and Quicksilver are the only real Avengers material here. And, no, Rogue and Deadpool don't count just because they were in past Uncanny Avengers. Not for me), however, the art on those covers is gorgeous.

I was also a bit disappointed to find this is just a five issue mini series that seems to be more tied to the Fall of X storyline than anything long term.

On a more serious note, the new Captain Krakoa claims he's "just a man." Ben Reilly has spiderlike superpowers as a result of being cloned from Peter Parker. That's a lot more than "just a man." Unless he was lying through his teeth.

I dont see "just a man" taking out Cyclops the way he did. Even a highly skilled and trained fighter, while having given Scott a run for his money, would not have been able to take him like he did. I will be quite disappointed (more than already at the news of this only being five issues) if it turns out to be no one.


(Also, an interesting note...all the new mini series that Marvel is rolling out with Fall of X ends in December. Guess January or end of December will be the next big X line change.)
