Default Singers we should never forget for their greatness

Whether still alive or passed on, there are some singers we should never forget. I love seeing all these Youtube channels where young people are listening to artists for the first time and appreciating the incredible talent - even if the music isn't their style.

List singers who you feel should never be forgotten.

    Mine:
    Karen Carpenter
    Donna Summer
    Olivia Newton John

A strong endorsement for Karen Carpenter, who was a genuine contralto (the rarest female singing voice) with great tone and control.

    I would add:
    Otis Redding
    Roy Orbison
    Patsy Cline

So that's two mentions for Ella Fitzgerald.

Another name worth mentioning is Doris Day.

Bruh! While I think there's other all female bands who broke ground around the same time and need to be recognized, I think people have forgot about Heart who had big hits and made their mark on hard rock. AND Ann Wilson is in her 70's, still performing and her voice is still as good as it was 45 yrs yrs ago
