Default What if a cop pulled over Batman and asked for his license and registration?

What would he do? He can't have "Batman" on his license.

    He'd call Gordon.

It would be the perfect time for the famous All Star Batman line. You know the one.

Guess he'd pull out a Bat driver's license (with no expiration date)?
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

This reminds me of an issue in Batman and Robin Adventures where the Batmobile actually gets ticketed.

Assuming they actually can pull him over, or they just caught him parking on the side of the road and wait for him to return, he'll just do what he always does
Silently Bat Glare, ignore him and runs off
Then the traffic police, who already defies GCPD initial warning of ignoring what the bats do unless they want trouble, will complain to Gordon, and will be ignored with a sigh and a quick lecture

I think it would be like that scene in John Wick when the cop comes to the door.

Cop - oh damn sorry Mr Batman sir

Batman - No harm done officer

Cop - Have a good night

Back in the Silver Age, and on the Adam West show, he probably did have license and registration in the name of 'Batman'

Then again, he actually was a police deputy back then, so the Batmobile would anyway de-facto be a police vehicle...

Wasn't that one a fake by Harley to make Joker laugh?

That said...The question of registering a vehicle is something that is interesting that could be done as a business. Can you imagine an exclusive DMV for superheroes (or supervillains who will break every law but are afraid of Uncle Sam's wrath)? Wonder how long the line would be...

Also I'm sure that the Robins who have drove have not had licenses at the time.

Tim did. He was underage but was given special dispensation due to his father's disabilities.

Jason would definitely ride without a license unless Bruce made him get one .
