I thought it was supposed to be that the hair and eyes skipped a generation, but that doesn't really mean anything about magical potential.

I mean if we're being ultra technical, isn't it like a Marvel Universe rule that any being/human can learn magic? Some will be better/more powerful than others but at a baseline anyone can learn and study the arts. I would assume that given her Bloodline, N'Dare would have a leg up on even the most basic stuff.

But yeah, as far as I know she never displayed any magic or even hinted at it.

So, after reading that Dominion. I'm going to guess and I think you guys are right. Storm might end up becoming a GIANT Solar System. IDK spit balling here LOL

Not much to say about this issue except Ewing is the best writer currently working at Marvel and I hope he sticks around the x-books for a long, long time.

I think Storm and Mother Righteous will both become close to becoming a dominion, and in much the same way, as the figurehead of a religion. But I don't think anyone will actually achieve dominion status.

Not going to lie...reading that article gave me a headache.

In my mind, and given the existence of the Phoenix Force and Galactus and dearly departed Warlocke, surely it would be far easier to thwart a Dominion when(ever) it arrives to assimilate this sector...than actually become one through galaxies-ending shenanigans.

I believe it refers to Noh Varr, it's not clear if he holds the actual title or if it's just a call sign.

Well anyone who's seen me go on about omegas knows I'm always jabbering on about how I think the potential to transcend physicality is inherent to all omegas, not to mention we've seen her transcend to an elemental form in an AU, so did Storm actually even die or was it just her body that's dead while her consciousness moved on to inhabiting a new medium or vessel? C'mon, Storm 'dies' AS she opens a wormhole, and the whole era is about Dominions being consciousnesses merging with singularities? I think Storm's ALREADY transcended to Dominion level here, and with as vast as eternity and infinity are, the Brotherhood resurrecting her in #3 is actually just gonna be what draws her attention and focus back to that particular place and time and her evolved consciousness will merge or be what inhabits the vessel that is her own resurrected younger self.

god i havent read the issue but now I am more hyped for year 1000, a lot of Gillens and Ewings favorite character moments happen during this period and from what I can tell this Storm moment is indeed truly epic so I can only see what happens in issue 3.
