Reaves was well known for his work on several animated series such as BTAS, but he also did Star Wars work, frequently with "Shadows of the Empire" writer Steve Perry.
He wrote Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, the Medstar saga, Coruscant nights & Death Star, and often had at least some of his characters cross-over between the novels. Also the Maul novel and Coruscant nights have elements of noir to them as well.
His Coruscant Nights finale, The Last Jedi, also shared a title with the movie to come....

I've heard only great things about his Expanded Universe novels. I can't wait to read them.

I remember him mostly for his animation work and he contributed to a lot of some of the major formative shows of my childhood.
RIP Michael Reaves. Thank you for your incredible storytelling and writing.
