Default If Alex Ross came back to DC, what kind of project would you want him to work on

Would you want a Justice 2? Or a sequel to Kingdom Come? Or something else? What are your thoughts?

Bit of a dark horse pick but, maybe Infinity Man & The Forever People.

shine the spotlight on someone other than Superman/The Big Seven.

Damn. Obviously, it'll never happen. But, I still pray for Firestorm (The Raymond/Stein combo, of course):

I'd like to see Alex give us a Justice 2 sequel with the additions of Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, El Dorado, Rima, & Samurai to the League in that universe. Otherwise I'd like to see him on the monthly main earth Justice League book.
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Alan Scott: Green Lantern, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jay Garrick: The Flash, Justice Society of America, Power Girl, Superman, Shazam, Titans, Wesley Dodds: Sandman, Wonder Woman, & World's Finest: Teen Titans.

Has he ever done a story specific to the Golden Age? He did some magnificent JSA covers in the 2000's.

He's been very Silver Age focused, would love a Golden Age Alex Ross epic.

Honestly? A sequel to Kingdom Come might be really good. I guess that counts as Silver-age?

But he did that already, he left that story closed.

I woudl expect him to do covers.

Lol, it's funny how in the one 90's JLA lineup he painted, he almost does his best to mitigate all the tell-tale signs of the era.

Aquaman's flowing locks are obscured. Kyle's costume is hard to see at the angle and you could confuse him for Hal at first glance. Superman's long hair isn't as visible against the night sky. Wally's white eyes are hidden by a glare. Everyone's sort of hidden and I can feel the discomfort radiate off the page.

I would LOVE that. His style would be appropriately operatic.

Something with a script that is already written so it won't be delayed...

^^^Operatic is a great way to describe his style!

Another Kirby creation i'd enjoy seeing Alex Ross tackle is Etrigan (and his better half Jason Blood). Oh i think he'd nail them.

Not a Kirby creation but an Alex Ross sword & sorcery tale starring Travis Morgan?
Sword fights, jet planes, dinosaurs, evil wizards, Princesses, cat women, big guns, magical creatures, lush jungles, arctic wastelands, I'd be all over that.

    He'd probably just do covers.
