Soooo the New Person on the Team is Kitty?

I wouldn't be mad at Kate's inclusion. I would enjoy seeing her play off the Avenger folk on that cover.
Additionally, I would ADORE it if ALL the X-rep is female. All the best X-Men are women. It would be nice to see Tempo on the team, as well.

He can't balance the existing members of the X-Men so it wouldn't surprise me if he struggles.

Deadpool will take up a considerable amount of page time. Let's be honest here. There is no reason for him to be there besides Duggan wanting to write him.

I'm excited for this. Rogue, Monet and Kwannon in the same team is kinda like a dream to me. Rereading Duggan's X-Men this past month was a lot of fun. Yes, not every character got to have their own subplot and that's frustrating for a X-Men book, but they all got a moment to shine. I'm confident he'll be able to make something special with this cast.

Hopefully the unrevealed members are mutants as well, but I doubt that.

Considering how Steve is the only member without any significant ties to the X-side makes that indeed very unlikely. As it stands it can hardly be called an Avengers book lol.

I think anyone one of them would be very interesting for the Team Dynamic. Wasn't there an interview where Duggan said the New Person would cause drama for the Team? If, that's the case then it sounds like it's Emma or Exodus.

I was speculating that on another thread just yesterday, I'm convinced Kate will be part of Duggan's Year 3 X-Men. He still has his Krakoa portals/Reed Richards subplots to follow up on as no other writer has picked those up in over a year now.

It would be fun to get Kate and Jube together on a team for the first time ever assuming Jubecita wins the vote!

There were a lot of gems in that run despite it's shortness. I have to say that still remains my favorite rachel costume.

D'uh I completely forgot about that! Although I think we lost both Kitty and Rogue way too soon on that book. But at least we were eating with Coipel's gorgeous Storm and Psylocke.

I'm mixed on the Uncanny Avengers news.

Duggan has been able to write bigger casts before, but he has been struggling doing this his last two runs (Marauders, X-Men).

Oh well, I hope the new characters really are important to the dynamic of the team if so.
