I remember reading somewhere that Hickman hates solicitations since they give too much away and well it looks like that is true.

No clue. $10 for a single issue is a deal breaker for me regardless. First issue of Ultimate Invasion was $8 and while I greatly enjoyed it, it definitely was not worth that much. I’m switching to the trade for this.

I think $9.99 is actually just the first issue because it is 64 pages,
the second issue 32 pages is listed as $4.99 in the November solicitations.

I don't mind the price tag because it's not like Hickman is a monthly writer anymore he's a event writer similar to when I sub to Max to watch House of The Dragon. It only comes around once in a while.

Would I pay this much for a monthly regular? Hell nah

This is definitely the first time I am seeing it listed this way. Not that I expected this series to run for years, but I didn't expected it to be a mini series with a specific number of issues. I was already wondering who the artist was going to be on the 2nd arc because pretty much no one these days keeps up a monthly schedule. I guess if this is truly an 8 issue mini then Schiti will do the whole thing.

I already thought this concept sounded pretentious even by Hickman standards... but $10?! This issue would have to be at least 80 pages of gorgeous Schiti art to even begin to make it worth that. Not even the stated 64 pages would cut it for $10, and I just know there will be tons of filler data pages that could have been illustrated as part of the story.

Brevoort said they're up to extend it if the numbers are good! I guess 8 is the first arc, the first two TPBs, or a very pretty HC
