Wink post you favorite comic book clowns or comics that feature clowns in them.

maybe a little late you could say but don’t care still fits for april fools as its all about pratical jokes clowning around and making a big fool out of yourself eh? the clowns on you in april afterall.

the characterization they did to quackerjack not too big on but regardless is he is still my favorite crazy clown themed duck? absolutley!

have not read the other original 90’s slapstick comics but loved the cartoony weirdness from the one i read.
actually all of them are like that.

ya see the thing with humor is that it could either be real funny or completley terrible, the nightmare comes with everyone thinking your unfunny.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I’ll let someone else post the Joker.

    The Jester
From Marvel. Criminally neglected. Would love him as a Moon Knight rogue.

    Funny Face
    An MC2 Spider-Girl villain. He’s pretty cool!

    Oxymoron
From a book called The Red Ten. Good character, and good book.

    The Comedian
From The Watchmen. This guy gets it.

    Zombozo
From Ben Ten. Legit creepy cartoon character.

    Clown Face
From Body Bags. He and his daughter Panda are bounty hunters in Terminus, Georgia.

Definitely, these three (3) are on my list:

    • From Marvel, Obnoxio the Clown

    • From Astro City, Jack-in-the-Box (actually, all three versions are faves)

    • From DCU, The Joker

Joker is my favorite comic book clown.

And there's another clown. Well, it's not a comic book but a movie. Clown was truly a very frightening horror flick.

Jack in the box a rare example of a clown who is heroic which is why i really like the idea of the character never read any of those comics though

^^^I found a couple of examples for you. They aren’t favorites of mine, but they’re good guys!

This guy’s actually not too bad.
Like a proto Jack In The Box.

Check out the creative team on THIS guy.

Not a good guy, but I can’t believe I forgot to post Violator!
    Such a great evil clown!

OMG! That is so true!! The Alan Moore mini-series was most enjoyable (IMHO):

Actually i have created my own heroic clown type character his name is Riley and he is a rather… big circus clown who is incredibly bald but wears a small blue hat to hide it and smokes a funny lookin cigar.

although he acts like quite the unpleasent jerk around people and is rather rude even has a heart tattoo that says RUDE on it. he is secretly kind hearted. and is a clown who actually enjoys his job as a circus clown of course while performing the utmost dangerous and questionable juggling acts.
